cute bug doing violence >:) roguelite structure < :( combat feels really fun and satisfying, but I didn't finish the game because there's a lot of backtracking. going back over the same spots trying to find the same resources to bribe the same npcs to fight the same little critters to attempt the same boss again--but you know, it's trying something here. kinda wish I was able to just run through the game in one go though, cause the characters are real funny lookin' and the encounter design is great but there isn't like, an insane amount of depth to combat... still, there are lots of fresh little ideas here and I think they're worth checking out. I really like the section with the rain droplets and the little dudes, thought that was awesome and the bosses are very cool too! tho if I remember right there was this one frog dude who had this tongue move and it's probably a skill issue but I could not for the life of me understand how to counter it, it felt a bit cheeky :/

If you're gonna offer a pack of 100 games that average around 10 minutes apiece to play, don't give me an adventure game where you punish me by wasting my time when I die. To bosses that require guesswork, i might add!
