I loved the game, the levels are simple and fast, an excellent casual game, the devs are updating it a lot during early access and I think it will get better and better.
The progress in the game is very fair for me. It gets more and more challenging as you progress through the game. The art is fantastic and unique. It's great to know that the developers keep updating the game!
Pathfinders: memories is a lovely puzzle platformer, the goal of the game is simple: Guide the robot from point A to B, but the puzzle here is that you can only memorize the path and only see the grids to guide the robot. While it seems simple, it becomes easily a challenging game, I loved it. Is something more to love in this game? Yes, there is! I love how cute the robots are, seeing them walking is so satisfying, plus a chilling soundtrack to listen while you're playing, I can't recommend this game enough. Oh, did I mention this game is just $1? So, what you're waiting for? This game is still in development, so you can expect more content to be released soon.
I have a good time playing this cute game where I can challenge my memory. You have to memorize the safe path then draw it when it is hidden. You can use pins and checkpoints to help you but you lose points for using them, so be careful if you aim the high scores. I like that they use scenarios from different people in History, even some unusual like the Mali!
A different memory game, you need to memorize the scenery and then trace the path that will be hidden! At the beginning the phases are easy, but then it starts to complicate, But it has some resources to help you remember, it was worth it, I need to test my memory.
Short version: The game is plain in all of its aspects, and unfortunately, not fun to play at all. Not recommended. Long(ish?) version: Gameplay: very bad Gameplay consists of firstly seeing the whole level, thinking up a route for your character, memorising it (or you could, you know, just make a screenshot, take a photo, nobody is stopping you, but that defeats the little purpose the game has, which is memorisation), and then drawing it from memory with only the grid and position of entry & exit doors as reference points. As mentioned above, in my experience this is simply not fun. If there is any difficulty to be had, anything puzzling at all that requires thought process of creating a route to happen, it happens very fast (since levels are very simple) in the 1st phase of the gameplay, which is maybe 20% of the game at all. Rest of the time you spend trying to draw lines from memory. And to add to that, anytime you actually make an attempt to check the created route, the character takes ages to move, making this game even more bothersome by wasting time. Meaning, aside from not being fun, game is trying to bore you to death. Audio: somewhat bad It consists of couple minor sound effects and background music I can only describe as sub-generic, as in - it's a set of 6 generic themes that are supposed to feel like they match popular culture stereotype of setting music for certain locations, but are so subpar that I can't help but point it out. I literally tried to recall them (kind of ironic, in this game ^_^' ) shortly after finishing the levels that had them, but I failed miserably. With music so unremarkable, you're better off listening to your own playlist. Graphics: not good, but not bad either I actually can't hate them. You can call them decent, functional, servicable, or all at the same time. Not too bad, but not good enough for them to be a plus. The only outstanding thing is the sad expression of character after failure being actually adorable. Story: nothing to see here Most of it is on Steam store page, and it's not present in the game itself. Not that it would've been better if it was, since it's just an excuse for in game events to happen anyway. In other words, it's non-existent. Technical state: quite good actually In the few speech boxes we are treated with, there's an "excelent" typo. Things like that can happen, but with how few of these there are and them being repeated over and over, it's kind of depressing. I've experienced a situation where 2 different submenu screens were activated at the same time. Surprisingly, I could quit both of them, since they were working independently, and that didn't crash the game. Otherwise, it was working well the whole time, so at least there's that. To sum up - I can't recommend wasting your time with not having fun with a game to anybody.
Beat the first 30 levels in about 50 minutes. Can't wait for more levels to become unlocked, but it's going to need way more than just 50 or 60 when it's completed. Would be cool to see user-generated levels as a fun end-game.
nice!
Gameplay
