Your game is actually better and more fun that I expected from looking at the trailer. I kinda expected this to be another one of my M.I.S.S. videos.. and it's not at all! Here are my strong suggestions and I hope you carefully consider my advice as I am a lifelong gamer with tons of reviews of games here on Steam and I also am an indie game developer much like yourself! 1) Asking $17 USD for "this" is absolutely insanity! I know you are probably very proud of your first game here on Steam, but I promise you that you will make a LOT more money asking 99 cents for this (or $1.99 MAX) than your current $16.99 asking price. 2) Add the ability to use the A and D keys for all of us WASD gamers. Forcing players to use the arrow keys and not adding the ability to use A & D is just plain silly. This isn't a suggestion.. this is a "must", just sayin' 3) Fix your collisions!! Sometimes I move right thru tombstones and don't crash, other times I feel like a barely scrape a key or nothing and die and it's "game over" If I am hitting something or losing health per say when it looks like I move right through things, you need to make it MUCH more visible that I am losing health or taking damage... make the screen border flash red maybe? Again, this is a "must do", not even an option.. even if you mark this game down to 99 cents! 4) I also suggest making each level start at about the half the current speed and slowly get faster and faster as the player progresses through each level. This is just a suggestion, not a "must do" ;-) Good luck with your game.. and again remember.. I PROMISE you that you'll make a helluva lot more money charging 99 cents for this game as opposed to your current $16.99 asking price. There's just too much competition here on Steam to ask anymore than 99 cents or $1.99 max for this game. * NOT RECOMMENDED until the price is lowered and well.. until my first 3 suggestions above have been taken care of by this developer! ..Should he do the first three suggestions above, I will definitely give this game my recommend! =)
