Quite a dull game. Idea is neat: by managing a team of ghosts drive out the inhabitants of a some dwelling or achieve some other goal like freeing a spectre bound to a place of his murder. However, execution is not so impressive. First of all, this is a remake of an old game and, while it is said to have some bugs fixed, it is pretty much the same game from what I understand. And that 2000s-era product means hideous visuals, awful audio, redundant menus and horrible UI in general. The ghosts under your command are greenishly bland, the unlucky dwellers you are supposed to scare are copy-pasted models of four kinds, the visual effects and animations are great if we're talking about PlayStation 2. But it would be OK if a game design is OK. Is it OK? Well, not for me. The game itself is somewhat a puzzle: you need to figure out how to achieve your goals by combining powers of the ghosts, but everything seems to be meant to be random. So you're trying the different options with no luck and then surprisingly something happens just because you've occasionally triggered it. Sometimes you seem to understand what you have to do, but doing so gives you nothing, because this is not how the game designers thought it through. Try it only if you have a nostalgia about the original.
Spookely Fun! An original nostalgic game from the past that is reworked for modern computers.

Ghost Master: Resurrection – A Stylish Haunt with Frustrating Gameplay Ghost Master: Resurrection delivers a unique and visually engaging experience, but unfortunately struggles where it matters most... Gameplay. One of the game’s standout features is its point of view. The perspective creates a strong sense of immersion, making you feel like you are a victim of supernatural chaos. The way the camera frames environments and events adds personality and atmosphere, elevating even simple moments into something memorable. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into how players see and experience the world. However, that strong presentation isn’t matched by the gameplay itself. Mechanics often feel clunky or unintuitive, and the pacing can drag, making it harder to stay engaged over longer sessions. Instead of feeling like a clever mastermind, you may find yourself wrestling with systems that don’t quite click. This disconnect between concept and execution holds the game back significantly. In the end, Ghost Master: Resurrection is a game I wanted to like more than I actually did. Its creative perspective and atmosphere deserve praise, but the underwhelming gameplay makes it difficult to fully recommend. Verdict: Great vision, shaky execution.
I remember watching Casper as a kid, and playing this gave me such a strong wave of nostalgia 😄 Thanks for bringing me back to my childhood!
Didn't get very far before the game crashed. Full details here: https://youtu.be/Ph52fbDTJi8
