About
February 1945. The war is almost over but your fight is about to begin. You play Gerda Larsen, a young nurse who is torn between her community and her desperate quest to save her husband, Anders. Many other lives will come to depend on your decisions.
Gerda’s journey will involve moral dilemmas, difficult conversations, and sticky situations. It’s a dangerous world and you must help her adapt to it with the choices you make, which always have both short- and long-term consequences.
If you give away precious resources to somebody who needs them now, will you come to regret it later? Will there be consequences if you, as a nurse, help a person who is suffering even though they may later cause suffering to others?

Make the most of what you have: your personality points, your allegiances, and your resources. Your relationship with people and factions will determine how your story unfolds. Level up Gerda’s mental skills by reflecting on her experiences in her diary to gain personality skill points. Use these skills during events and conversations to unlock special actions, gain others’ trust, or keep them from suspecting you.
You can choose where to explore and when – but do so wisely, as people move around and events can be time sensitive. As you investigate and make progress, your choices will send you down many different narrative paths. Will you do whatever it takes to save Anders, or will you cling fiercely to your morals? Your actions will lead to several poignant conclusions and change the fate of your community in Gerda: A Flame in Winter.

Such a specific slice of WW2 European strife. I dated a man from this region for several years so seeing it come to life in a game is really interesting to me. Also, it's very moving, sad, and fun to play.
An okay game, but for whatever reason in the final confrontation in the forest, despite my having several Mental Energies in each category (about 2-3 each) the game refused to allow me to use these mental energies to convince a certain character not to shoot a different character, so of course that character died. The ending I strove for was ruined by some stupid glitch. I replayed the ending FOUR times, the glitch persisted no matter what. L software.
Like a Choose Your Own Adventure With Limited Gameplay Objective Review 6 of 5 must play. 5 of 5 great story great game-play. 4 of 5 great story average game-play. 3 of 5 average story great game-play. 2 of 5 give it a go only if it's you're favourite genre. 1 of 5 play if you have nothing better to do, 0 of 5 play if you're a masochist. -1 of 5 avoid. Gerda: A Flame in Winter Gerda's story score is 4 of 5. Gerda: A Flame in Winter Liva's story score is 4 of 5. Subjective Review I've played several games by DONTNOD. The stories have never disappointed me. Gerda/Liva are no exception to this. The choices you make having real circumstances that lead to good/terrible paths. This could've been a straight text adventure, but then I wouldn't have bothered. If I'm going to read a book I want one that I can curl up with on a couch/bed. The graphical side is simply amazing, love this style. Isometric view, nah, don't like it. But this not being an action game at all, I decided to give it a go. The music, very well done. It would be great if someone could take the time to put this story and all the choices made into a 3rd/1st person shooter. There's definitely enough material that such could be done. Great stories are missed by a majority of gamers who don't want to bother with a game that has very little input from the controller they're holding. Having stated that I must say, there were times that were absolutely jarring. The sounds of a shot and the blood that is presented along with the very lifelike falling of a now lifeless body is very well done. Shockingly well done, actually. Didn't expect it at times, which actually made it seem more real. There's a lot to be said about a story that can realistically turn out completely different than you thought it would. I never play this kind of game more than once. I try to treat them like real life, where I must live with the consequences I meet because of the choices I make. It gives me much to think upon long after I've put the game to rest. If I replay it to various endings I soon forget the game. Pay attention to the Objective Review. If you like lots of gameplay, don't bother. The extra content, Liva's story is very short. Kind of ends in the middle of a story. To me, they should have made Liva's story first, then carried on Gerda's story with the results from Liva's story, and made it all one game.
Great game. And I like how it is complicated from the perspective of choices you make. I strongly disagree with people who writing about sympathizing nazi german, it is shown from the perspective of people who can't be a B.J. Blazkowicz or Terminator and go kill all german nazies at once. People make choices and sacrifices, which feels more realistic when you have hard feelings to help healing nazi soldier (but on the other hand you are on enemy's territory as you country is occupied, to get intel and their disposition). Some people just have to play Wolfenstein instead.

——《Gerda: A Flame in Winter / 格尔达:寒冬之火》,-80%折扣叠加捆绑包“Gerda: A Flame in Winter - Modstand Bundle”,8.40元,25/11/29入。 26/07/18
