About

You play as No Man, a watch peddler caught in a love triangle with other cosmic beings, Miss Mass and Golden Boy. When your affair turns into a bitter confrontation, you will witness a gunshot fired by a jealous god—otherwise known as The Big Bang. Jump into the expanding universe and search for a way to prevent or destroy creation and save your love.

With a focus on tactile puzzles and exploration, you’ll experiment with objects in small slivers of the universe to discover how they can be manipulated to progress your journey. Dial a rotary phone; destroy a civilization; plant a garden; improvise with a musician; create life—all in your search for a way to save Miss Mass.

The Big Bang isn’t just the birth of creation as we know it, it's also a gun blast frozen in time, with the bullet speeding towards the love of your life. You’ll jump into pockets of time, explore moments throughout the lifespan of the universe, and search for a way to change the course of destiny.

You’ll observe moments in the history of the universe, from the first microseconds of Life to trillions of years in the future. What will you learn about these new creations, in your search to destroy them?

(Time logged on other account: 5 hours) I enjoyed the ambience, art and music of this game. However, it was buggy and kept crashing. The story was also pretty confusing and swaddled under lots of metaphors. I followed the big bang/creation portion well, but after the midway point with the introduction of Mars I couldn't keep up with the allegories any more. Puzzle wise it also felt pretty disappointing. Half of the actions you take are just following a trail or spinning a wheel. There aren't many puzzles, it is 70% a point-and-click game which would've been fine if, again, the story wasn't so hard to follow. Overall, I appreciated how unique it was, but the playing experience was frustrating.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun story driven game with light puzzles.
this game was an unforgettable experience and i seriously regret holding off playing this game for like two years :/ . the presentation is amazing: a very simplistic style in a noir aesthetic, while most often calm jazz plays in the background. the story is also incredibly captivating, and the way it so smoothly combines a detective story with the creation of the universe is mind blowing to me. the only negative remark i have is that from a certain moment the story does not fit well with what had been happening previously, but i still really enjoyed it nonetheless.
Glad I bought it on sale. Still not sure I’m glad I bought it at all. I really wanted to love Genesis Noir. I expected a stylish noir detective story with jazz and some playful use of physics, but instead I got a mostly abstract story about time, cycles, and a bunch of other concepts that were hard to care about when the actual plot barely holds together. I don't care about Miss Mass - the game gives you almost no time to get to know her, even though the entire story is supposedly about saving her. Golden Boy never gets enough development to become a proper antagonist either. There’s no real investigation, no satisfying confrontation, and no real payoff to the initial setup. And as a game, most of it is just “find the thing you’re supposed to click.” There were maybe three actual puzzles I genuinely enjoyed in the entire game. Not enough jazz. Not enough noir. Barely any characterization. Tons of beautiful ideas, but for me they never came together into a good game.
