Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4/day in the week to Aug 14 → 33.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Jogo está datado em mecânica e história atualmente, mas ainda bastante divertido levando em conta que é um jogo antigo. Teve melhorias gráficas e mais localização em comparação ao original.
Already hooked and its amazing! I've never played any GOW games before on the 360 so this was my only option. Hopefully in the future I can get a 360 and play the whole franchise on the original system to see its full glory. Multiplayer lobbies feel just like Xbox Live lobbies, its beautifully toxic
Second time theyve dropped the same remaster and abandoned it.
loved the game when it first came out and totally remember why.... very nostalgic to play it again!
Cant go wrong. Fun coop action cover shooter. A pioneer in the genre. Classic. Cool story, setting, locations and characters. Jump in and have fun.
I purchased Gears of War: Reloaded for £9.99 in a Steam sale. Even at that price, I came away deeply disappointed. I was an original Gears of War player when it launched on the Xbox 360, and I also bought Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on the Xbox One a decade ago. Remarkably, Ultimate remains by far the superior way to experience this game. The biggest problem with Reloaded is the AI. It is frequently atrocious and, at times, feels terribly programmed. Friendly NPCs charge straight into the open and get downed almost immediately. They fail to follow you properly through levels, remain behind in previous areas rather than joining the fight, and I repeatedly watched NPCs firing directly into walls instead of engaging the enemy. This isn't an occasional quirk. It happens frequently enough that you begin anticipating what the AI is going to do wrong next. It constantly breaks the flow of the game and leaves you feeling as though you're fighting both the Locust and your own squad. The final battle with RAAM highlights almost everything wrong with this release. Rather than being a satisfying culmination of the campaign, I found myself fighting against the game's AI and mechanics as much as RAAM himself. By that point, frustration had replaced enjoyment entirely. In fact, I had stopped having fun before I was even halfway through the campaign. From that point onwards, I was essentially grinding through the game because I wanted to finish it. Eventually, even that wasn't enough. I reached the end and simply couldn't bring myself to continue fighting through the frustration to complete it. And that is ultimately the defining problem: Reloaded became a slog. If I'm playing a game and no longer having fun, what is the point? The graphics are improved, but they are nothing remarkable and certainly don't compensate for the underlying problems. What I find particularly difficult to understand is that I didn't play Reloaded at launch, yet these issues persist. This feels less like a carefully maintained remaster and more like a re-release that was pushed out and then largely abandoned. The original game is nearly 20 years old; it needed more than another graphical overhaul to stand up today. There are also subtle changes that, in my view, damage the original experience. I remember *Gears of War*, particularly on higher difficulties, being a balancing act of ammunition conservation. You regularly had to change weapons because ammunition was scarce. Ammo crates mattered. I distinctly remember desperate encounters where I was reduced to using the pistol because everything else was empty. That tension is largely gone here. On Nightmare difficulty, I spent much of Reloaded walking around with full, or virtually full, ammunition. Crates provide so much that resource management becomes almost irrelevant. It sounds like a minor change, but it illustrates a wider problem: much of the tension and horror atmosphere of the original Gears has gradually been diluted. The original wasn't just an action game. It could be dark, oppressive and surprisingly tense. Limited ammunition contributed to that because every encounter involved an element of resource management. Reloaded increasingly feels like a much more generic shooter experience by comparison. The mechanics inevitably show their age too. They were revolutionary in 2006, but better graphics cannot disguise nearly two decades of progress in third-person shooters. If you're going to re-release a game of this age again, simply polishing the visuals isn't enough. There are technical problems as well. I encountered numerous audio glitches throughout the campaign. Music would simply stop midway through sequences for no apparent reason. Marcus would sometimes become completely silent for substantial sections of a level. This was particularly noticeable during the additional campaign chapters, where he was virtually silent for long stretches. It makes parts of the game feel unfinished. That's perhaps the saddest thing about Reloaded: so much of what made Gears of War special is still technically here, but the experience itself somehow isn't. I went into this wanting to enjoy a modern version of a game I loved. Instead, I stopped enjoying myself before the halfway point, spent the remainder of my time grinding through it out of determination to finish, and eventually gave up at the final hurdle because the frustration simply wasn't worth it. It also hasn't filled me with confidence about the future of the franchise. If this is the standard achieved when remastering an existing game — where the characters, environments, story, mechanics and basic framework already exist — that is concerning. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition did this considerably better a decade ago. If you want to experience the original *Gears of War*, play Ultimate Edition. Better still, if you have the hardware and can tolerate the genuinely dated visuals, go back to the Xbox 360 original and experience the game as it was designed. Gears of War: Reloaded may look cleaner, but for me it is a substantially poorer experience. Not recommended — even at £9.99.
My nostalgia is being exploited for a quick and easy buck! :D
