Gauntlet™ Slayer Edition

I like this game! Yes, its pretty old game, but still fun to play. Easy to understand the mechanics of the game. Playing with a friend with most times its just us, while running on endless mode but always made sure the party in on public so others can join us, just to carry us. 😂😂😂 My first time playing such game, still gets confused on which is which my hero is. Thinking I was already with the team yet I was stucked and being left behind. Sometimes the animation effects on the enemies are slow which causes me to die or maybe thats on me for being noob 😂😂😂 Well, ill take this opportunity to recruit players to play with us, to carry us to finish the campaign and endless mode. 🤣

fun game but not as fun as the Dark Legacy

Um verdadeiro clássico. Muito divertido e dinâmico e a 'briga' pelo ouro é sempre engraçada, principalmente entre 4 jogadores. Recomendo muito, principalmente em promoções. Vale cada centavo!

Gauntlet is a good revitalization of a long-dead IP. I played the original arcade version on my GBA ages ago. This is definitely a nice modernized version of it! The graphics are good, the characters are extremely unique and fun to try out, the gameplay loop keeps things engaging all the way thru. There is some things I didn't like about it, namely: 1. The fact there's no tutorial whatsovever. You get dropped in the game and the best you're gonna get is a "how to play" button on the pause screen that will show a couple pictures and extremely short details on what things a character can do. 2. The "Death" levels, altho a fun idea, were more annoying than anything. He spawns way too often, then noises are annoying and it's just not an enjoyable hurdle to play with. 3. The boss fights are more a test of patience than of skill. They are also all the same. Boss is invulnerable while you fight mobs, becomes vulnerable for a short term until the boss hits it's next HP bracket, then becomes invulnerable again and you fight more adds. The first boss atleast added a sort of "puzzle" mechanic to it, but still. Out of the entire game, they were the least fun things to deal with. Overall though, I recommend it. It's pretty short. Probably around 4ish hours to complete the campaign. If you're into twin-stick gameplay, you'd definitely enjoy it.

Still a fun game to play all these years later. I do however wish the developer or some other one decides to step in and update this with new stages.

Great throwback game. I remember the game being more arcade like, being able to turn into a chicken and silly stuff like that. But this is more of just a simple dungeon crawler. The game still holds up but I wish there was more to explore and unlock. The wizard character is one of the most interesting concepts I've seen in a dungeon crawler, and for that reason is way too complicated for me to play. Still having this game for $20 is a little steep.

Joguei muito os predecessores de Gauntlet no fliperama e no PlayStation 1. Lembro de ter gostado demais deste em questão, porém, por algum motivo que não sei explicar, ele acabou pegando poeira, esquecido na minha biblioteca. Passeando pelos meus jogos, encontrei essa pérola. Baixei despretensiosamente e tive uma grata surpresa — tipo achar cem reais nas juntas do sofá. O jogo é gostoso demais e me faz voltar 25 anos no passado. Trata-se de um dungeon crawler com action RPG muito divertido, que possui um modo campanha, mas brilha mesmo no modo endless, onde você vai descendo a masmorra até onde aguentar. Apesar de ter mais de 10 anos, ainda vale muito a pena!
