Puzzles are good. Moving around the map can be a little painful sometimes.
1.带电的章鱼需要time gun召唤多个老头蹦迪; 2.巨大化的章鱼要巨大化老头蹦迪;

This little gem is high on my list of favorite games. It's a puzzle game, like Portal, but laid out on a metroidvania-style map. It's pretty short, ~5 hours, but absolutely worth the price and one of those games I wish I could forget and enjoy for the first time again. The game caters to puzzle-platformer audiences more than metroidvania audiences, but if you like both genres then this game is perfect. It has some key differences from traditional metroidvanias: - The map has a "next objective" arrow to let you know where to go, but nonlinear exploration is still encouraged and rewarding. - In lieu of bosses, new gateway guns and puzzle mechanics are introduced. - Most puzzles can be skipped by "buying" the solution with power orbs; this gives you a replay of the solution to watch so you don't miss out on important lessons. Also, when reading other reviews, please note: - The game's default difficulty was eased around mid-2013. Original levels were renamed "hard" mode, and the new default is "normal" mode. This mostly just changes the endgame, but I would strongly recommend playing normal mode the first time around. - The time gun has a sharp learning curve, but it's actually pretty simple once you know how it works. Definitely save up power orbs and buy a solution the first time you get stuck, and study the solution to see if it helps. - The game is a lot more difficult if you don't get plenty of extra powerups, most of which make the time gun puzzles easier to execute.
Really good. I would say it's not that challenging until the very end, but it was still really fun having what puzzle tools you have be the thing directing your metroidvania progress. Like, usually in metroidvanias you are barred with a simple gate and key type item/weapon, a mobility upgrade, or even knowledge, but in this one it was moreso the tools needed for a puzzle (ok and I guess mobility too, but still). I think the main thing that adds complexity to the game is the
time travel
ability, which can get pretty hard to keep track with. Without that I think the game would still be very fun, but I think the intricacy of the puzzles would be capped much lower, as they are prior to picking it up.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this game to anyone because I can't play it. The title screen opens, tells me to press start, which I can't do because the cursor is frozen, and that's it. It seems odd that no one else has ever had this issue. There seem to be one or two discussion threads with similar issues and no response from Steam, the developers, or anyone else.
