Gargoyles Remastered

🌬️ Wait, the Gargoyles game was never that good? That's right. This remaster is a literal reskin of the original, and I'm surprised people are complaining about the awkward hitboxes and other issues, because they've always been there (even old boss abuses work). It's unfairly difficult in places, slightly confusing, and has some frustrating platforming sections. This release is cheap, and while the graphics are generally okay, there's nothing else here. No extra content, nice bonuses, or anything. You can switch to the original graphics at any time, but it would have been better if they'd fixed this game with the remaster, leaving the original game as a standalone. I love «Gargoyles» and am glad they remembered it at least like this, but I wouldn't recommend this game; it's mediocre. If you still want to play it, then do it on easy, spam the crouch attack on almost all enemies and don’t hesitate to use rewind, for the sake of your nerve cells.

I love the series growing up & this is a real treat for me.

Visually great remaster. Graphics are just great. The cartoonish vibe and style can make you overlook the outdated gameplay. But sound improvements feels strange, sometimes original sound much better. And controls are weird and sometimes not as responsive.

Игра понятное дело. Хардкор сеги. Но блэт, это просто вьетнамский ужас. Но по игре ясно, сложненькая, даже на лёгком. Но вот по текстуркам - отдельный атас. Сравниваешь с оригиналом. В оригинале всё ровненько, отлично. Короче, ремастер пососный ♥♥♥♥♥♥. В этой версии криво, косо.

This was my first playthru of Gargoyles. Man this platformer is so good. Im planning on getting it for my Sega Mega Drive now. One thing is that I had a hard time understanding if i actually hit a target or not. and also. This game is hard. If not for the rewind function, I would be pulling out my hair. Eiter way. Great game! Super bummed that I missed out on the physical collectors edition of this one.

Não sei nem o motivo de existir. Quebrado na época, aí decidem relançar. Vão arrumar o jogo? Não! Deixaram quebrado e, de quebra, o gráfico remastetizado é pior do que o original em baixa definição. Além disso, é caro demais para um produto que você pode fechar em menos de duas horas, então é reembolso no ato.

looks great. remastered version's controls needs to be upgraded. game is even harder to play than the original. gliding is better in remastered. combat is better in the original. needs an update for the controls.
