Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this software. This is just a very basic tech demo that uses a Unity wrapper for making Google Cloud/API queries... the idea is you put in some text, choose your language, and the software goes off to Google Translate for you and sends you back a translation. This is obviously 10 times dumber than just using your browser to go to Google Translate. It's not even the work of the Russian "developer", Hede, he just used someone else's wrapper and slapped a really lazy UI on top of it and called it his own work. Why is this on Steam? This has misleadingly been launched in the "Games" section of Steam instead of the "Software" section. This is a common mistake for developers who are new to Steam, or don't understand the difference between games and software which isn't a game. Usually software published incorrectly as a game is simply frp, lack of experience/knowledge of the correct process, but Hede have a long track record of highly unethical behavior. In this case it's plausible this was done maliciously. Publishing things which aren't games on Steam in the Games section as games is misleading to gamers and somewhat harmful, because it pollutes the Steam marketplace and takes away visibility and market exposure for genuine game developers who do the right thing and make games for gamers. It also gives genuine indie devs a bad name. There are no gameplay loops in this software, no "gameplay", no meaningful game like interaction. It's a software application and as such has no merits as a video game for gamers. Because of this, I cannot recommend this non-game software as a game to gamers. Hede have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. It's the responsibility of the developer to maintain their product, ensure it runs on all modern PCs, or if they determine there's defects and the game doesn't work, they should remove it from sale instead of misleadingly trying to scam gamers into buying knowingly defective products. Game Localization has the completely insane price of TWO HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS, which is incredibly suspicious, higher than AAA pricing for an asset flip shovelware scam. Why would the "developer" put such a high price tag on an asset flip with no true value as a game? There's no direct proof for this, but it's entirely possible this game is priced this way for money laundering or other criminal purposes. Higher prices allow more money to move with fewer transactions. Valve have previously banned developers for running money laundering scams. While there's no direct evidence in this case, it's highly suspicious and gamers should be wary. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. Game Localization — программа для перевода игр. Ну как программа, очередная еле работающая трэшанина от этого хэдераста, он ничего нормального не выпускает. Интерфейс ужасный, работает оно так споро, что с большим успехом можно просто игру на паузу поставить и гугл.переводчиком воспользоваться. Плюс один: четыре ачивки падают на старте. После них, можно этот трэш сносить. Задумка очень крутая, но на текущий момент это не работает. Купил, попробовал на двух играх. 1 игра - просто хотел посмотреть как переведется меню игры, состоящее из 6 строк 2 игра - перевод диалога. Итог: Перевод делается раз в 20 секунд, что очень долго Переводится очень криво и в кучу. Про диалог я говорить не буду, там вообще часть перевода ушла за экран, а вот с меню все было очень забавно. Система не видит СТРОК. Для нее весь текст - это одна строка. Соответственно 7 строк меню превратились в 1 сплошную строку с кривым переводом и без пробелов.. Я конечно все понимаю, но я не просто так решил перевести МЕНЮ игры. Это набор самых стандартных слов и если программа даже с этим справиться не может, то тут и говорить не о чем. Еще один момент - текст с переводом появляется в самых разных сторонах экрана и предсказать где он появиться - невозможно. В общем как я уже сказал.. Задумка очень крутая и если ее нормально реализуют, то будет просто офигенно! Но пока сделано криво. Было бы круто: - сделать перевод не раз в 20 секунд, а по нажатию на какую либо кнопку.
