Reviews
There are a couple of things that are missing such as getting rid of citizens when you dont want them but overall one of the best games in this style. This comes from a person who never writes reviews so thank you for the great game.
GALCIV 4 isn't Stellaris (thank god) and can be fun but it is in need to learn a thing or two (that isn't PDX's DLC policy) from other 4X games. Main problems: -Race leader screens is an eyesore, they are uncanny as hell and not for being aliens. +AI generated things won't land no matter how and why you use it -Warlords DLC shouldn't be a DLC, focus on additions like races. -Like many other strategy games, GC4 fails to convey information. Highlighing enemy is a MUST and making bright red "We are being Invaded morron" shouldn't be in a window that can be clicked away from (and forgotten) Likes: + NPCs feel like they are trying to be participants. They can be annoying and frustrating sometimes but not Paradox AI... + Influence zones and an open hexbased map. No lines like Stellaris and you can go wherever your reach can....reach. +Planetary management like a boardgame

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

No he creado naves militares, ¿con qué me defiendo?.
As a long time player of the GalCiv series, there is a lot of commonality between GalCiv 1 and 4. The new planetary districts and adjacency bonus work well and offer constant decision making. Freighter and Supply ships adds a new dimension to the civilian economy. The race creation AI is a game in itself. I tried to make a Borg style race and the AI nailed it. Very cool. Stardock kept the best parts of the GalCiv series, made them better and then added more cool stuff. I played the base game for 100 hours and now I am going to buy the expansions.
these guys really want £60 off me now for the promise of a dlc in TWO YEARS, are they out of their minds? overpriced and not available, it's beyond mental
This game is addictive. You could play for weeks on the same game if your galaxy is big enough. But even so, you could start over and over, just to have fun with picking other races, and seeing the outcomes. Its a lot of fun! But make sure you have a LOT of RAM and a really good processor and graphics card. Even though this isn't a first person shooter or game that requires constant rendering, it can slow down depending on your settings, and how many races you have in your game etc. But overall, awesome!
what is this BS 6 games in a row all new and the same thing happens a race from the future comes to decimate me BS
Fun strategy game. Turn-base is great for busy folks that play occasionally for an hour here and there.
