Reviews
Dev is still actively revising and expanding this game. Lots of problems mentioned from old reviews no longer exist. The progression feels great. Must play.
Enjoyable incremental game with frequent QoL/Content updates and a really low price.
Very idle after a couple of transcendencies, to the point where i have not made progress in tens of hours (it's just waiting and very rarely clicking the same upgrade buttons). I have grinded out transcendency 18 in 80+ hours of playtime. Every transcendency takes a couple of hours longer. The next interesting unlock seems to be happening at transcendency 40+. Quick math says thats easily another 100 hours before something new happens.

Can't believe i found this hidden gem. Wasn't expecting much from the screenshot/trailer, but this game actually contains a lot more depth, the trailer really doesn't do it justice in selling the game, perhaps the dev is waiting for a more definitive 1.0 release patch to update the trailer or they don't want to spoil things? not sure. Anyways, Gaiadon is still being updated with many new major systems and content. Some of the discord members have already been actively playing for years since release, which is always a good sign. NGU idle was my favourite idler game and I haven't been able to find anything remotely close (I've tested a lot of idler demos, even those on other platforms like itch, not steam). Although i'm only just 1 week in, Gaiadon is already a major contender to dethrone NGU idle as my new or second favourite. Those who enjoyed NGU would surely feel right at home. I've not even reached mid-game yet, but I have already seen some of the newer endgame systems from discord or veteran players and I am very very much looking forward to it. The gameplay loop is extremely satisfying for me, and doesn't include clicker genre for me, which is a huge plus for me. The early game does have much more active management to min-max since the pace is decently fast, but by the 1st week, a lot of systems get automated (like boss sweep, auto ascension etc) or builds become more unchanging. The game loop becomes wake up>progress a few systems>idle towards the next big goal. It's a nice idler I can play while working. To be very fair, I do always play idlers in a different speed than publicly intended (iykyk), though the dev did mention in one of the discussion threads that it's fine, play how you wish. But I bring it up as I have seen some criticism that past midgame, it can take weeks for the next meaningful spike in power. But then again, I do also feel that most idler-genre players already know about playing in a different speed? even if they don't use it themselves. "Some people prefer slower/delayed gratification idlers, some prefer a faster customized experience" type of situation. Anyways, it's just a few bucks, definitely one of the most worthwhile purchases I made in steam.
i gave a negative review previously but i gave it another try and kept playing. i reached transcendence and the game became more challenging from there on. and actually becoming more fun. Just the sound..is well .... there is no sound at all lol
it seems like a game with potentials.. but it is also quite a bit sloppy that it has neither sound nor audio options in the game ...
a bit slow, but alright i guess
great start for EA. I've had a lot of fun playing. eta: getting even better!
