Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Wow what kind of bizarre ride was that!? The puzzles were annoying and the game crashed 41 times but damn the game is good and Gabe is good. I am craving another Gabe entry, I need to see Gabe and Grace reunite!
Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned is an ambitious supernatural adventure built around investigation, historical mysteries, religious conspiracies, and occult danger. Developed by Sierra On-Line and published by Activision, it represents the third major chapter of Gabriel Knight's career as a Shadow Hunter. Instead of relying on straightforward horror, the game builds its identity through a complicated mystery in which research, conversations, observation, and puzzle solving gradually expose a much larger conspiracy. Its late-1990s technology is unmistakable today, but the writing and investigative structure give it qualities that remain appealing to players who appreciate traditional adventure games. The story takes Gabriel and Grace Nakimura to France after a child is abducted under mysterious circumstances. What begins as a kidnapping investigation soon leads into the secrets surrounding Rennes-le-Château, where rumors of hidden treasure, ancient bloodlines, religious mysteries, and supernatural forces become intertwined. One of the narrative's greatest strengths is how patiently it develops these ideas. The player is not immediately given convenient explanations for every strange event. Instead, seemingly unrelated conversations, historical details, suspicious behavior, documents, and discoveries gradually become pieces of a larger puzzle. Playing as both Gabriel and Grace adds considerable variety to the investigation. Gabriel is naturally drawn toward the supernatural side of the case, while Grace often approaches problems through research and careful analysis. Their different personalities and investigative methods allow the story to explore the same mystery from complementary perspectives. The relationship between them also gives the adventure a personal dimension that prevents the elaborate conspiracy from becoming nothing more than a collection of historical references and supernatural theories. Investigation forms the core of the gameplay. Players explore environments, question characters, inspect suspicious objects, gather information, manipulate inventory items, and determine how apparently minor clues connect to larger objectives. The game often rewards curiosity because important information can be hidden inside conversations or environmental details that initially seem insignificant. When these systems work well, solving a problem produces the satisfying sensation of actually uncovering a mystery rather than merely completing a conventional sequence of adventure-game tasks. The puzzles can nevertheless be demanding. Some challenges involve reasonable deduction, while others require highly specific actions or unusual combinations of ideas. Certain solutions can feel arbitrary by modern standards, particularly when the game provides limited feedback about what the player should investigate next. Missing a small interaction can result in considerable wandering and repeated examination of previously visited areas. Players familiar with classic adventure games may enjoy this uncompromising approach, but newcomers should expect occasional frustration. Its three-dimensional presentation was an important departure for the series, allowing locations to be explored through a freely controlled camera rather than relying entirely on predetermined viewpoints. This provides a greater sense of physical space and allows players to inspect rooms and outdoor areas from different perspectives. Unfortunately, this is also where the game's age is most apparent. Character models are primitive, textures are basic, animations can appear stiff, and controlling the camera requires adjustment. The visual technology has aged much more severely than the underlying narrative. Atmosphere compensates for many of those graphical limitations. Rennes-le-Château is an excellent setting for a conspiracy mystery because ordinary locations gradually acquire greater significance as new information emerges. Hotels, churches, roads, ruins, and surrounding landscapes become pieces of the investigation. The supporting characters strengthen this atmosphere because many appear to possess private motives or concealed information. Conversations therefore become exercises in interpretation as much as sources of exposition, encouraging players to consider who is trustworthy and who may be manipulating events. The pacing is deliberately slow and investigative. Large portions of the game are spent talking, reading, researching, observing movements, examining evidence, and revisiting locations after obtaining new information. Players expecting frequent combat or conventional horror sequences will find little of that here. The supernatural elements instead operate within a detective-adventure framework. This restrained approach gives major revelations more impact, although it can also make the middle portions feel lengthy when the player becomes stuck on a particular clue. Another memorable quality is the way the story combines vampire mythology with historical and religious speculation. Rather than presenting supernatural creatures as isolated monsters, the narrative connects them with questions involving lineage, faith, ancient secrets, treasure, and power. The resulting plot can become extremely elaborate, but that complexity is also part of its character. It is a game that expects players to engage with its mythology and pay attention to details rather than simply wait for the next dramatic sequence. Steam Deck compatibility is a notable concern. The game is currently classified as Unsupported on Steam Deck rather than Verified or Playable. Players should therefore not purchase it specifically for handheld use expecting guaranteed functionality. Community workarounds or compatibility-layer adjustments may produce varying results, but the official Deck classification means a traditional Windows PC remains the safer environment for playing it. Despite its technical age and occasionally frustrating puzzle logic, the game remains noteworthy because of its unusually ambitious approach to interactive mystery. Its strongest qualities are the layered investigation, dual protagonists, detailed conspiracy, historical influences, and willingness to make players work for important discoveries. The graphics and interface belong unmistakably to another era, but the underlying adventure demonstrates how effectively careful storytelling and investigative gameplay can create suspense without depending on constant action. For players comfortable with classic adventure design, Gabriel Knight 3 remains an absorbing conclusion to the original trilogy and an intriguing example of the genre's transition into 3D. It demands patience and tolerance for outdated mechanics, yet those willing to accommodate its rough edges will find a substantial supernatural mystery with genuine personality and intellectual ambition. what i dont like is i payed for this game and its not lodding at all
The GK series is one of my all-time favs in the point and click category. Overall, I am glad I played GK3. It takes some time to get used to the controls and camera views, has some very difficult puzzles (you'll need some hints, no doubt). But its definitely worth playing if you are a fan of the franchise and story.
