About
Future War Tactics: SOF vs Alien Invasion – Turn-Based Strategy is a single-player turn-based strategy game where you lead a Special Operations Forces (SOF) unit in a fight against a mysterious alien threat.
The events unfold in the near future. In the Ural Federal District, mass disappearances of people are occurring, accompanied by geomagnetic disturbances and strange atmospheric phenomena.
You are assigned to investigate the incident sites and uncover the reasons behind what’s happening. But the mission takes a darker turn when unknown creatures launch an attack on your squad.
As you progress, you’ll have to uncover who these aliens are, where they came from, why they are abducting people and stealing weapons — and how to fight them.
Use different combinations of weapons and abilities, build your tactics — every decision you make can impact not just the mission, but the fate of all humanity.
Take command, uncover the truth, and fight back against the invaders. The future is in your hands.

It's not terrible but... God is it ever clunky. It feels as if the game UI and animations are barely out of placeholder state and I have mis-clicked to heal my guys as often as I actually hit my target. It just feels unpolished and uninteresting.
Much like an XCOM clone. Squad tactics of an alien invasion. Works quite well, but limited in scope. Not bad, worth it on special. CONS: Campaign is short - 18 hours RNG is bad - anything under 80% is a miss - so not worth the ammo - send a grenade instead.
Командовать спецназом против пришельцев — как кормить кота, который не понимает тактики, но выглядит круто! Отличная тактика с шармом галактического хаоса!
СКУЧНО , не сбалансировано.
Future War Tactics – Honest Review I finished the game.Total playtime: 7.5 hours on medium difficulty. It’s clear that this was intended to be a bigger project, but probably ran out of money or time, and the developers had to release it in a half-finished state. Many parts are poorly thought out and badly executed, but it’s not completely hopeless: there are some positive elements. Unfortunately, they don’t outweigh the negatives. ❌ Negatives - Very short campaign – around 7.5 hours to complete. - Animations – look like they’re from 15 years ago. - The support machine gunner keeps firing even after lowering the weapon, which is extremely distracting. - Immortal squad members – you only have 4 soldiers, and they don’t really die. If they are shot but you complete the mission, they come back to life. - Simplistic progression system – all 4 classes have almost the same skills (counterattack, drone usage). - Illogical mechanics – grenades can’t be thrown from behind cover; you have to step out and back for AP. Same issue with drones, even worse and more illogical. - Amateurish storywriting – the story concept isn’t bad, but the writing is shockingly unprofessional. - Terrible voice acting – bad even for an indie title. - Awful military communication – almost no military slang. It’s obvious the developers haven’t seen a single war movie. Extremely annoying. - AP system issues – soldiers get 18 action points, but reloading takes 14. Weapons carry very few rounds, so you’re constantly reloading, artificially increasing the difficulty. - No base building or micromanagement – the game is completely linear. - No replayability – once you finish, there’s no reason to go back. ✅ Positives - UFO/X-COM vibe – it somehow brings back the tense, oppressive atmosphere of the old UFO games. (This mostly works for players familiar with the classics.) - Curiosity factor – you want to see how the story unfolds and what new equipment comes in, although there isn’t much. - Level design atmosphere – the Russian, post-communist environment works very well. - Non-pixel-art graphics – personally, this is a huge plus. Summary: I only recommend this game to hardcore turn-based strategy fans who want a nostalgic experience. Everyone else should steer clear. The €10 price is too high. For that price on the indie market, you can get much more polished and well-executed games. Not a disaster, but far from a good game.
狗屎玩人海战术是吧
Скучно, без жизненно, скучно, просто.
C'est bien de vouloir faire un X-com pas couteux. Mais du coup tout est cheap.
