Futariuum's Gate

I had to change my review to negative, because this game is out for almost a year now, and there was barely any updates so far. Maybe devs are cooking something big behind the scene (at least they say that they do something, they are answering people on community hub about working on stuff), but until I see big improvements, I will keep it as negative, because lets be honest - october to august is a huge amount of time. I have games on my list that got like 2-3 big patches during summer alone (including games developed by a single person). And no, if devs post something on discord (in case that they do), it doesn't mean anything, because game is not sold on discord, it's here, on Steam, and I want to see news here.

This is a good game with amazing art and for an early access its amazing. Very well put together and can't wait to see what is to come next.

Good game with beatiful arts and intresting gameplay, but it's early access( We need more juicy girls with juicy d1cks!

I was looking forward to that game, i first played it when it was very early and i liked the looks of the characters but the "game" part wasn't even done, after that i saw that it became a card game and a lot of people didn't really like it and found it too hard, it's now on steam and i had to play it. It's really good, it's still early but i really like it, i find the story interessting and the fights aren't as hard as people online made it out to be (or maybe the bone card help THAT much idk XD ) Can't wait for more of the game to come out for real and i'll definitely support the game.

Em futariuum a mc é uma futa que é filha de um arcanjo com um demonio! certo dia um circulo magico aparece em baixo da cadeira e ela é mandada para um limbo e acha um livro que fala que ela será a proxima gatekeeper que irá defender a terra contra a invasão dos demonios a terra,será que ela irá triunfar?! O jogo tem uma arte bem bonita porem é o ponto que eu achei mais alto em todo o jogo! o jogo tem varios exageros em seus dialogos e repetições que fica parecendo que foi só para preencher um conteudo vazio colocando lero lero oque me incomodo muito e me fez dropar o jogo! o combate do jogo é bem interessante sendo um tipo de card battle, e as protagonista são bem bonitas porem pelo que eu vi o jogo ainda esta em uma fazer BEM inicial com pouco conteudo e como disse com MTO lero lero por exemplo ''a protagonista descreve como tem o pau grande,depois descreve novamente como o pau dela é tão grande e que mtos gostarião de ter e depois vai e descreve como ela gosta do pau dela'', recomendo esperar por varias atualização antes de decidirem pegar, mas não consegui gostar talvez um dia eu tente novamente.

HOT AS HECK BIBLICALLY ACCURATE WIENER WIELDING WOMAN GAME (Serious-er stuff below) — For the gooners: just trust me bro. From baking that ends with bakeries “à la mode”, to receiving packaged goods over the counter while delivering your own goods under the counter, to painting a thicc goth artist baddie and grinding a cute skater femboy’s ‘rail’, you’ll love it. And if futa normally ain’t your thing, just think of it all as more booba for your bang. Or more cake for your shake if that’s your preferred take :3 — For the gamers: a chill VN with deck building roguelike elements, this is the type of game that you’d cast up on the biggest of screens and rock out to while curled up on the couch with a blanket and warm cup of hot cocoa, listening to the rain outside. Adventure and slice of life all mixed together and completely one-hand compatible! Play one-handed with your co… coa in the other hand! :D — For the geeks of the literary variety: ‘Tis a most intriguing rabbit hole to go down I must confess, but almost all ancient religions have ties between the divine and the spice of life. Gods/deities created the universe and mortals create life through a lil midnight wrestling. It is therefore most logical to conclude that a divinely appointed main character with all the features and add-ons one can equip is the one to fight off demons and send them back to where they came from. Not without a proper, lore accurate bestowal of divinity first though ;) — Serious-er stuff — —Gameplay - it’s a chill visual novel with a well written and well paced story and a pretty forgiving, turn-based, deck-building roguelike system in the dungeons. The game is also completely hand drawn by Nethuum, whose art style is phenomenal - both sexy and cozy. —Story - you play as a relatable depressed, anxious, and horny futa named Maya. (Maybe the futa part isn’t quite as relatable for y’all now that I think about it). She receives a higher calling from the divine and is dragged - mostly against her will - out of her comfort zone to battle n’ bang sexy demonesses. As the story progresses she eventually begins to get a handle on everything - from what her higher calling fighting demons entails to navigating her lower calling as a university student. —Characters - the devs of this game have actually admitted they don’t play many spicy games - which makes this game all the better for it. Most spicy games on Steam strip the love out of the love-making with spicy scenes reduced to strip —> dump the load —> repeat, at which point spicy video sites would do you better. In Futariuum’s Gate, all the characters are fully fleshed out with their own personalities and quirks, visible in how the characters interact with each other and in Maya’s internal monologue. Each character has a real reason to spend quality time with Maya - from just messing around, to ‘accidentally’ getting her off, to having a real human connection with her. This makes the spicy scenes much more personal and intimate, and really, really hot. 99% of the time the fastest way to get me to lose interest in a game is to tell me it’s a visual novel (or deck-building game XD). And Futariuum’s Gate is not perfect by any means, even the devs themselves have admitted that - though that hasn’t deterred their commitment to give their all in delivering the best experience they can with this game. But between the characters that actually feel like humans, the relatable main character, and fhe quality story, this has easily become one of my all time favorite games - SFW games included. Plus the soundtrack goes hard, so that’s always a plus. Give this game a try - or don’t, no judgment here. But be real, you’re not here on Steam, at the end of this long ah review ‘cause you’re lookin for the type of quickie you can get on a spicy video site. You’re here because you want something more. So treat yourself - you deserve it :)

I like the art and the style. The gameplay? Not so much. I think its using the visual novel engine thing to do the card battle stuff but it comes off a bit janky. It's serviceable for what its worth but I think they should do something about the transition between turns. Writing style wise? I enjoyed it but it feels too flowery in some instances. There are good descriptions of what's happening in the scene but some of them are way too long and takes up to like 3 pages long. This is, of course, very subjective and I do appreciate the effort. And I get it, the characters are in their 20s in the modern age where they all talk "like that". But it seems that everyone talks like that. When everyone talks like that, none of the characters stand out. Lastly, the main character herself tends to be contradictory. She seemed socially awkward at first but then have the confidence to confront stalkers or even go to a therapy session without extreme pressure. She also feels dispossessed of emotions at times but when confronted with a life threatening situation, she immediately stepped up to the challenge without batting an eye. There are also times when she seemed to even to want to be in stressful situation when clearly, she has knack of getting panic attacks. That's my two cents anyway. And besides, the game is clearly very early access in terms of content, so here's to hoping they improve on that front at least.
