I’ve played every clay shooting VR game in the market, non of them was good as a simulation or even as a game. Fullchoke is such a great simulation to taste clay shooting in VR. After I play this game for a while I became a big fan of Skeet game. Just by being able to play skeet game in my room, this game is worth every penny. Graphics, gun mechanism are solid. It’s rather a very simple game but it does exactly what it supposed to do (although it needs a gun stock to play properly) Lack of contents (especially no multi-player mode) is major down side but, considering it’s still an early access, I see so much potential in this game.
Absolutely the best clay shooting simulation game out there. Very close to the real thing, at least the skeet shooting. I don’t shoot trap, so I cannot judge how realistic that is. Honestly I would pay a lot more for this game if I could, a round of skeet costs me about $10, so being able to supplement my practice with playing this is helping me a lot. I would gladly pay a monthly fee if I could have access to detailed analytics data. You need to build yourself a stock/gun rig to hold the controller or have some way of fixing the controller onto your own gun to be able to play this properly. Some carpentry / 3d printing comes in handy. There are a few things that need improving: - You can only play 1 round of skeet at a time, the “continue” button is missing after the first round. - You cannot adjust the cast of the gun stock i.e. left and right adjustment to bring the rib under your eye. - You cannot control the game with only 1 controller (oculus), you need the second controller to advance between stations for example. It hinders my movements to have it hanging on me during play. Some features that would be great: - Practice mode, be able to shoot the tower from station 3 only for example - See where you missed, have a small window pop up after the shot and see the shot swarm location in relation to the clay. - Data Analytics. There are so many things that could be recorded and stored in a structured way. Barrel starting points, swing speed, target miss locations … etc. this data could then be used to draw conclusions like “when you miss target 1 on platform 3 your swing is too fast”. This is something that you cannot do without having a coach.

悪い点: ・いつまでも繰り返しやってしまう :-) (I tend to shoot forever at this simulator.) (Maybe I will be excellent clay shooter.) (I want to change the rules setting myself. I want to change setting how many clay pigeon to throw at each station for my country's local rules.) 2. (I want to practice repeatedly at the same number's station.) 3. (I want to change the speed of clay pigeon.) 99. (I want to practice under natural conditions such as wind,rain,backlight,etc.)
Cant see the clays at all on a Valve Index. So tiny. The barrel of the gun doesn't stay fixed relative to your cheek when you track the clays. I'll pay 4x the price of the game for the real experience just for a couple rounds.
Picked this game up after trying the demo. For the most part, i'm very impressed! I used to shoot trap (D.T.L, A.B.T) and English skeet for my county, and have had trials for England, although I have not shot competition for a number of years, mainly due to the cost. This game feels very close to real life clay shooting! I make similar mistakes that i make in real life, miss when I expect to miss, and hit what i expect to hit. I like the online leaderboards, and I am aiming to top them all. I feel a few tweaks are needed though. American trap feels just a little to easy. After a little practice shooting rounds of 25, i attempted shooting a round of 100, and hit 100 straight on my first attempt. Though i have shot 100 straight in D.T.L before (similar to american trap), I doubt i could do it with such ease now. I'd likely only hit 90-95 IRL with my current ability. The Olympic skeet however, feels far to hard. I'd usually average about 80-90/100, but the game only allows for rounds of 25, of which i'm lucky to hit just 10. Stand 8 in particular feels impossible to hit anything. I can't pinpoint what exactly is so hard about the mode, but its clear i'm not the only one that finds it unrealistically challenging, as the best ever score (according to the leaderboard) is a measly 20/25. Maybe due in part to the resolution making the targets hard to see, but otherwise i'm not sure what else is causing the low scores. I love the gun customisation options, i use a Ceasar Guerini high rib trap gun IRL and the gun i use in game shoots exactly the same. Although, to play the game with any success, a VR gunstock is a necessity. I have been playing with a cardboard stock i made myself, but have ordered a proper one to use in this game and others. Overall, excellent game, would like to see more features such as new disciplines, online competitions, and a practice mode where you can practice shooting a specific target, for example high house from 3rd skeet stand. I feel practice in game will translate well IRL, and i'm looking forward to shooting again IRL to see if my scores have improved with the practice i've gained in game.
Nice quality clay/trap shooter simulation for double barrel shotguns. I have been looking for something like this for awhile for VR. The effects and physics look pretty spot on. The gun detail and feel of the gun is much like that of the VR game title: Hotdogs, Horseshoes, and Hand-Grenades. The menu has many options to customize graphic settings and gameplay. You can tweak the gun position in your hands, set the sharpness of the environment, and add different barrels to manipulate the spread of the shot. You can also change the size, color, and add a trail as an aid to help see the clay if needed. It also keeps a history of your previous scores for each map. I only had one issue and that was grabbing cartridges from the belt holder. When using the HTC Vive controllers sometimes you had to grab around a few times until one was selected making a bit difficult for faster paced matches with shorter timed releases. I would also like to see more maps/backdrops other than the 4 that come with the game. Maybe have some snow covered mountains, forests, or lakes like the old 1980 trap shooting games. It would also be nice to have some options to stream internet music stations in game. There is a map with a piano that plays continuously with no setting to turn it on/off. Other than that it is a pretty good quality VR Title for anyone looking to improve their trap shooting skill. I look forward to future updates.
Great game. Was a trap shooter a while back absolutely love the sport and this game. Would recommend it to everyone. I have started streaming it on youtube look up some real gameplay. These days im definately an amateur. Never did any skeet before. Really want to pickup the shotgun and shoot again.
This game is very helpful. Especially the feature where you can see where to shoot the clay. I had a shooting competition one weekend and the day before, i decided to try this game. I practiced for a few hours and went to bed. The next morning i woke up and scored my personal best with a 93/100. The only thing i would recommend to those buying it is a stock to mount your controllers. I would like to see some sporting clays added later on if possible.
