I'm not a wargamer or a WWI history buff, but I am interested in turn based games and the WWII era, so this game is just right for me. Panzer Corp 2 or Order of Battle, it is not, but more complex than the Tank Battle series by Hex War. It's very dun, but there are some glaring errors that are not quite annoying enough to stop playing, but almost. Fix the following and you have a great game worth paying twice as much for. As is, it's still good, cheap fun. Loss estimates should take supporting artillery into account. Rest button to make "next" button easier to use. Multiple saves with auto save every turn. Only one save is ridiculous. Option to have hexes on map. More distinct color for range of weapons. Turn counter resets seemingly randomly. Normal difficulty still very easy (perhaps because of turn counter). I will recommend, but only for a casual gamer such as myself. If you are a Panzer Corp fan, best to skip it.
Refund requested A panzer general type game that is just poorly done, no tutorial, not well designed with a very uninformative and awkward interface.
Another Spin off from the Frontline series. Basically the same as the other titles; simple round based WWII hex field strategy . Good visuals, simple mechanics and a rather short Allied forces-non dynamic-camaign as well as several Axis and Allied sandbox scenarios. Map scrolling is a bit edgy in this one, but the gameplay is as catching as in the other titles of this series. Good purchase for the price. Entertaining game.
I really, really like this game. It's INCREDIBLE to learn that this is the work of a single developer who continues to improve/upgrade/repair his masterpiece! I haven't come across a game that forced me to choose between sleep and playing one more turn, in many years! Very well done in every respect!
what i dislike is the game plays the first turn as you are..and once the first turn of the AI starts the game freezes and fails, granted it was a cheep game to buy BUT I AM SO NOT IMPRESSED..nor can i find help with the issue..as ive have adjusted setting in game hopeing to cure and have had no result at all.the AI fails once it starts the first turn
This is a straight forward turnbased war strategy game :-) Nice graphics and sounds and an easy to learn user interface!
For $2.99 it is worth the price and the ammount of entertainment it brings. I am still a bigger fan of the original Sudden Strike but I am having fun playing this.
Really like the graphics and the game design seems solid, but the overall implementation is poor and confusing. The UI has very poor feedback. Tanks appear at sea without a boat and get stuck. Needed some more work.
