Is a turn-based offline operational strategy game that puts you in command of the German forces trying to make their way to Russia during Operation: Barbarossa, Typhoon, Zitadelle (Kursk) 1941-1945. (Developer) It is a game in historical garb. The 35 cards are all at least difficult. Depending on the setting, it gets even harder. I have thousands of hours of play in Panzer General, Panzer Corps and Order of Battle. This is also the gameplay that appeals to me and implements the historical framework well. This is not the case with this game. Although it's well made. There is really nothing to complain about. Unfortunately you cannot save during the battle. There is a loading indicator, but it just doesn't work. A game aimed at players who want to try hard battles. Conclusion: A war game, nothing more. made entertaining. Ist ein rundenbasiertes, offline operatives Strategiespiel, mit dem Sie das Kommando über die deutschen Streitkräfte übernehmen, die während der Operation: Barbarossa, Taifun, Zitadelle (Kursk) 1941-1945 versuchen, ihren Weg nach Russland zu finden. (Entwickler) Es handelt sich um ein Spiel im historischen Gewand. Die 35 Karten sind allesamt mindestens schwer. je nach Einstellung geht es noch schwerer. Ich habe tausende Spielstunden in Panzer General, Panzer Corps und Order of Battle. Dies ist auch das Gameplay das mir zusagt und den historischen Rahmen gut umsetzt. Bei diesem hier vorliegenden Spiel ist dies nicht so der Fall. Wenngleich es gut ausgearbeitet ist. Wirklich zu meckern gibt es nichts. Leider kann man während der Schlacht nicht Speichern. Ein Ladezeichen gibt es zwar, funktioniert halt nur nicht. Ein Spiel das sich an Spieler richtet die sich mal versuchen wollen an harten Schlachten. Fazit: Ein Kriegsspiel, mehr nicht. This is a good tactical war game that's worth checking out. It's something along the lines of Panzer Corps in that you have a group of units, an objective, and currency to buy more units mid-mission if need be. I actually prefer this game over Panzer Corps tbh. I think the biggest thing for me is that Panzer Corps feels to me more like a puzzle game than a war game in the sense that I felt like each map had a particular "solution" that I was meant to find, whereas Frontline: Panzer Blitzkrieg feels more open ended and that I have choice as to how I solve each situation. There's a good amount of units to choose from, many have special abilities which are fun to play with. The AI can be surprisingly good, and so winning a map does feel quite satisfying. I've also had a really good experience with the developers here on the Steam forums when I was having problems. I reported a strange bug and they were fairly prompt in fixing it, despite this game being a few years old. All in all I have no problems recommending this game.

К сожалению по сравнению с предыдущими играми этой серии, проект едва ли меняется. Скорее раннее существовавшие проблемы, разработчик пытается сгладить более детальной работой с картой, но это не помогает. Всё так же огромное количество очков снабжения, свинские закупки самых лучших образцов техники и пехоты и затем раш. Никакой тактики и баланса. Однообразные миссии, где новые юниты не имеют никого смысла, ни у врага ни у вас. Как и ранее рекомендую игру только детям до 12, как казуальный варгейм. Лучше обратите внимание на Panzer Corps, Panzer General и т.д.

another one of my test games from one of the best supportive developers out there, if you like war games, it should be in your collection

Clear graphics, Battle boxes, realistic units,several options, excellent strategy play,,,can be improved to make it closer to the original Panzer General II

Buggy and a bit anachronistic, but worth a play through. Don't expect a lot of historical accuracy in terms of when various equipment was available, but the sheer number of scenarios available is much more than you usually get for similar games. Probably the best of the Frontline: series so far.
