Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 20 → 7.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Step into the role of Kazuki and Ryogo as tensions rise across volatile military zones. With the fate of the region hanging in the balance, command towering Wanzers and lead your squad through intense, turn-based battles.
FRONT MISSION 3: Remake is a tactical RPG set in a future where nations and corporations compete for dominance in a world shaped by powerful mechs called Wanzers. The game follows two diverging storylines based on an early choice made by the protagonist, Kazuki Takemura. Both narratives focus on a global conspiracy involving secret weapons, corporate greed, and nationalistic agendas.
The game begins with Kazuki and his best friend Ryogo unwittingly becoming embroiled in a military conflict after a routine delivery to a military base. Depending on the player's choice, Kazuki either joins up with his sister Alisa, or with an operative investigating a covert weapon project M.I.D.A.S., Emma Klamsky.
In both routes, themes of loyalty, family, and the ethics of technology are explored as Kazuki and his team fight to uncover the truth and prevent catastrophic consequences.

A nice touchup of what I consider is one of the best video games ever made. I have only 2 complaints. First, the remade character portrait quality varies wildly from great looking to bizarre/unfinished-looking. The main character looks too airbrushed and incomplete as art. Secondly, being a Japanese game, the menu UI is awful on keyboard/mouse. The game requires spacebar to advance dialogue and enter to select things, rather than them being the same button. This makes menu/scene navigation extremely annoying, and this cannot be changed in the options.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

I needed to add the following line to the Launch Options to stop the game from crashing upon booting: -force-d3d11 If you use any of the -force-feature-level-xx-x parameters, the backgrounds and the sounds will not work. This game seems poorly tested to say the least. Tl;dr - the game itself is horribly unoptimized to the point that even the cutscenes stop and drop frames every few seconds. The modernized graphics look extremely unimpressive and take the frame rate down to zero when firing at things. Even the intro video ripped from the PS1 game chokes every few seconds. It is as if there is an underlying engine issue siphoning resources on a constant basis for no gain and the related lack of testing to iron out these very basic technical issues that could have been caught with a minimum amount of beta testing. This reminds me of the "made to order" thing some Eastern Bloc developers operate on. This "remake" is on par with the Saints Row 3 and 4 remakes i.e. not good at all. The original game was not that great, though this kind of a port job absolutely murdered it. I have a saying that perfectly encapsulates what is wrong with this game: "if I have to do your job, you didn't do yours." This is an unbelievably bad product from such a big team. Even the tacky way the "front mission 3" text is crudely pasted on the vastly cooler original logo shows how little the team cared. It reeks of the cancerous "good enough to ship" mentality of the low-rung business models of some software industries.
Finally finished both Alisa and Emma route, for the original FM3 player, this remake (or remaster?) must had many flaw if compared, wether it the mech design, animation, and for me especially the sound its just hard to get used too, thankfully there is the classic ost option in the game (yes you should use it!). Even with all those flaw mentioned, this is still a fun game, with the same gameplay like the PS version, i encountered some minor and weird bug from the battle skill sometimes, and softlocked once on the simulator. overall i have a fun time with this game from a rough start to finish, now i dont need to setup emulator to play FM3 (i do want to play the original again tho, maybe in the future).
thumbs up cant wait for fm4
This is absolutely not *Front Mission 3*; it’s a completely different game—and a steaming pile of ♥♥♥♥ at that. The sound effects, mechs, and visuals bear no resemblance to the original. The company and development team behind this remake deserve to drop dead.
Struggled to make it through the tutorial, what are these controls? If you are going to release a title on PC at least make it playable with a mouse & keyboard.
i thought the difficulty and enemy AI will revamped but no. enemy still dumb like the og game who can run away to edge of map for no reason. animation too jank compared to og one like no weighty and the melee one is the most disappointing. upscaling old stuff with AI is acceptable but do they review it into final product? i guess no there are a lot of flaw in network image and i still questioning the what is on the face of Chairman Jie, pimple? scar? sweat? or whatever that looks so weird with upscaling. Last one was the final movie Lukav Xiangyu looks pretty cool in game like doomsday mecha lobster but turn out into cockroach in the movie. okay i guess thats all
