Przemiły tytuł, z uroczą żabą i ciekawą historią. Fajna, cozt gierka.
Did not expect to meet a cosmic stork in a game I though would be about mixing cocktails in a frog pub. 10/10
Disclaimer: I love frogs :) Frog Holm's pretty cute! It's a short little walking sim, with some simple platforming and ingredient-gathering thrown in. In-between story parts you tetris those ingredients into cocktails, but most of the game is walking place to place and dialogue. Speaking of - the dialogue's pretty good. Some actually funny bits in there! The story is admittedly a little all over the place, but I liked it. Some of the jumping mechanics and environment interactions are a little janky, but nothing too bad. And like. Who knows? Maybe the player character actually IS a frog made of lead and that's why he drops like a bomb when you jump..? Much to think about...
Krótka, ciekawa, urocza i bardzo NIE dla dzieci. Polskie tłumaczenie fantastyczne. Polecam na piątkowy wieczór. Żabia perełka ^-^
so short that you can probably refund after finishing the game, but I like the cocktail making. story is meh, but I like the characters
Positives Review für den Algorithmus :)
Fun short little indie game
As a Desktop Fishing veteran (over 3k hours) I was really looking forward to the release of Frog Holm. It is a really cute, narrative walking simulator. You spend most of your time exploring, searching for fishing spots, collecting ingredients, fit them into your backpack and mixing cocktails. There are some light platforming elements, but overall it's just not meant to be challenging. The plot was a bit 'all over the place' in my opinion and left me slightly confused at times. However, the parts I did follow were very sweet and also self-reflecting in parts. (Also there are a few cute jokes etc.) SInce this is the studios first major release (as far as I know), I think they did a solid job. Some of the inputs feel a bit wonky and there is room for polish, but for a debut project, it's a very respectable entry and I'm definitely curious to see what they release next. 10 Euros might feel a bit steep for the playtime, it took me abouty 4,5-5 hours to unlock all achievement and play the whole story. That said, supporting small studios is important, so it's worth the full price if you want to help them and if you have the money. Otherwise it's a 'must-buy' when it hits a sale or bundle. The achievements are easy to do (bit too easy when comparing to desktop fishing ;) ) they can be a bit buggy when it comes to popping up, if you have any issues just restart the game, that fixed it for me every time. TL:DR; Overall rating 6,5/10, if you want to support a wonderfull small studio pay full price, if not then its a must-buy when it hits a sale or bundle. I would definitly recommend it for a cozy evening session
Its short but for the price really ok Sooo funny, the mini games are good but a little easy. The 2D art is soooo pretty and i loved the mini comic.
I won a steam key for this game and had so much fun with it! The only thing that was annoying is that I did get stuck in the inventory are one point because it kept telling me I could put the new item in, but there wasn't any room. I ended up having to restart the level because of it, but after that I was just more careful with what I was picking up. I definitely think the game could have been flushed out a bit more in certain aspects, but overall it was really fun! I enjoyed it a lot and would absolutely recommend! The story was an absolute ROLLERCOASTER!
