This game… sat in my wishlist for a decade, I guess. I know I love solitaire games, and yet for all these years I’ve been hesitant because of all conflicting reviews I’d read and those questionable RPG elements that I just couldn’t reconcile with the basic concept of FreeCell. What can I say now, after I finally bought it and tossed aside all those fancy AAA titles I had downloaded and was planning to play… Well, it’s a rough dope. You need to get used to some of the slightly restrictive rules first, collect a few levels and spells to ease the pain of dealing with what are presumably impossible card layouts… And once you're in the flow, there are about 500 more rounds to go before you conquer (or “free”, as liberals like to say) the whole map. All in all, I can’t recommend this game to anyone but solitaire fans. And even if you are a fan, there’s still a 50/50 coin toss chance you’ll either get hooked or get frustrated by FreeCell Quest’s rhythm and its main “magical” mechanic. That said, I can finally slap my biased 7/10 on it and be gone for good. The one thing I’m certain of is that I enjoyed it plenty while it lasted - but I don’t want to come back here any time soon.

If you enjoy FreeCell and want to solve puzzles, this isn't the game for you. It has some tough challenges, but when you try to solve them, you get distracted and badgered with damage until you have to start over from scratch. It forces you to use spells to solve the games for you as quickly as possible, which is boring.
It should be good, but it's not. It won't let you make moves at times that are legal moves and then the next minute it lets you make them. No explanation and i can't figure out why i can't make the moves? Just add some tips at the start if there is a game mechanic at play? Gave up after an hour.
its not just freecell, its freecell with an irritating twist of anti-game motivation jumping in and out
A game to pass the time on cold days without electricity. I often play this game during power outages, sitting at home with only my laptop battery. This happens because a neighboring country fires rockets and bombs at my country. Peace to all. Stay safe.

Real money card cosmetics in game that could have been placed in the shop page instead. There is no explanation to the world and story it kinda feels useless. Rather Boring An island belonging to a country but has only port connections to another country and some countries have paths trough borders and other doesn't.
At first it is fun enough. But after a while the levels get more difficult, ok. The (distracting) damage you get increases a lot. Even with getting better equipment. Losing a level / dying loses you money. Which you need a lot to get better stuff. Resting costs more money. Traveling spawns random encounters a.k.a. replay this level now!! I don't want to replay levels I already finished, but it is the only way to get money when you 'hit a wall' in your progress. Once you start losing, you land in a downward spiral that you can only break by grinding/replaying tedious levels over and over and over again. I don't want to do that, because I play games for FUN. My advice don't buy/play this and save yourself the hassle and money. Buy yourself an icecream instead, you'll enjoy it more.
