About

Freddy Farmer is a retro arcade style game with 16-bit pixel art graphics in the style of the 80s/90s where you can test your skills as a player.

Freddy's daughter has been kidnapped by an evil dragon that lives on top of an abandoned castle.
The only possibility to rescue her is through a magic potion that only a mysterious wizard who lives in the forest can make, but to do so, he will need to get some very specific ingredients and these in turn must be mixed in a certain order using magical cauldrons that are spread throughout the kingdom.
With the only action of jumping, Freddy must collect all these ingredients while trying to avoid all the enemies and dangers in his path until he reaches the cauldron of each of the levels having collected the ingredients in the correct order.

Classic challenging NES style game. The pixel art and animations are so cool !
This is a SNES inspired title through and through. Simple to play, fun to waste time in With few difficulties but overall fair and fun design. It has few issues stemming from SNES inspiration (Some solutions were annoying then and still are annoying today), but even with those its solid experience Absolutely worth its price and worth checking out and playing for yourself, Especially if you have a burnout on newer and more modern titles. Suprisingly spoiler
Not all levels are unlocked from the start, its Ghosts and Goblins style where you need to beat the game on normal and then complete on hard to get good ending.
Maravilloso single-screen. Adictivo, desafiante y muy divertido. Recomendado para partidas rápidas.
I only bought this game because I have a friend named Freddy. I like arcade games, puzzlers, platformers and all...but something else I enjoy are good controls. Those are severely lacking in this game. I understand the thought behind the whole "gather objects in the correct order" but it just falls flat and is not worked through. That's also the only puzzle-like ingredient in the game. That you have to navigate through the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ levels with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls and jump over the ugly ass enemies. To be fair, the graphics aren't that bad but the game just makes me angry. The music is also extremely repetetive. Like the rest of the game. I would stay away from this. Hopefully the next Freddy-themed game is more enjoyable.
It's alright. Didn't really get into it, but I figure that's more of a me issue.
reminds me of a game at the arcade. controls are kind of hard on keyboard. Wish i had the classic arcade buttons.
Initial Reaction - The game is fun but it is hampered by its lack of QOL and forces you into an insufferable loop of replaying the same levels to minimal reward. Its simple, you play a gauntlet of levels in each zone. Your task is to collect each item in the correct order. You only have a very minimal jump to accomplish this, which you use to hurl yourself over gaps and enemies smaller than the jump. The critical issue I'm having with enjoying the game is that if you're good enough to avoid enemies but accidentally collect something in the wrong order, there is no way to start that particular level over, other than resetting the gauntlet of levels. Once you complete a potion, you never have to do that stage correctly again unless you want the bonus score for extra lives but that got really tedious fast. If you could shuffle the items you collected to be in the right order, maybe with a time penalty that would make it more fun instead of just having to reset once you screw up. I can't recommend this game to people who are looking for more fun than challenge but if you enjoy kind of unfair games, this is it. Its fun to atleast put in a couple attempts but if I were to sit and work on beating this game, I would hate it.
Written Review: "In the end, Freddy Farmer is a rollercoaster of joy, frustration, and satisfaction. It’s a beautifully crafted tribute to classic platformers, tailor-made for players who thrive on steep learning curves and the thrill of hard-earned victories." - WalaWalaGames https://www.walawala.gg/games/freddy-farmer-steam-review/ Video Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M49IWIxkZ8E
