About
Foxhole is a massively multiplayer game where thousands of players shape the outcome of a persistent online war that lasts for weeks. Players ARE the content in this sandbox war game. Every individual soldier is a player that contributes to the war effort through logistics, base building, reconnaissance, combat, and more.
Massively Multiplayer Warfare - Thousands of players connect to the same world and fight in a persistent war that lasts for weeks. Immerse yourself in a sandbox that includes hundreds of hand crafted towns, villages, and other areas of interest.
Logistics - Comprehensive logistics game where every bullet, weapon, vehicle, and drop of fuel is produced and supplied by real players. Win battles by cutting off supply lines or sabotaging infrastructure behind enemy lines.
Trench Networks - Fortify your front line with trench lines and bunker networks. Build underground bases with ammunition storage, engine rooms, intelligence centers, and artillery emplacements.
Weather System - A fully dynamic weather system that simulates snow and rain storms. Weather can have a profound impact on the battlefield, freezing over rivers, disabling equipment, and limiting artillery effectiveness.
No Man’s Land - Unleash devastating artillery bombardments that can permanently level towns and transform landscapes into a desolate no man's land.
Tank Combat - Dozens of tank classes and variants supporting tank crews with gunner, commander, and engineer roles. Tanks can be tracked, have their fuel tanks ruptured, or be disabled and feature an armor system with penetration and deflection mechanics.
Naval Warfare - Construct impressive fleets of Battleships, Destroyers, and Submarines. Launch massive beach invasions to claim territory on distant shores.
Train System - Players can design and build large scale railway systems, enabling supplies, vehicles, and other equipment to be hauled over long distances across the persistent world.
Facilities - Construct and manage industrial bases that can be developed into mass production centers or shipping ports servicing hundreds of logistics players every day.
Air Warfare - Build and operate squadrons of recon planes, fighters, bombers, and other specialized aircraft.
Paratrooping - Paradrop behind hostile lines to cripple key infrastructure and disrupt enemy logistics.

this game sucks for alot of reasons but i play it for a reason
Additive and realistic war simulator that is not very fun unless you are dedicated and joins clan.
Fix the tanks.
Lags and jitters not stop. When you disconnect from the game and try to log back in it puts you in a queue.

I like the game I really do....................but........ Total play time to this point has been over 200 hours so I do like the game, I mostly enjoy doing backline logistics and doing midline when it's desperately needed to help the front but after the last update my enjoyment has declined and here is why... I joined the game when Charlie server was active so I joined Charlie, it was fun and enjoyable with alot of friendly and helpful people. Had a problem? Needed advice on a certain part of the game? There was always someone there in chat offering to help. Then the Devs decided to merge Able and Charlie servers with the newest update. I know this game is supposed to be a mmo like game with huge battles and such but damn having too much of something cannot be good; Queue times to get mostly anywhere on the map is a joke, especially to the frontline where people and supplies that you have made at the backline/midline which could have taken a few hours to make and loaded for transport are needed. Doing backline logi now is a total nightmare if you are a solo player or playing with a few friends. With the merger of both servers there are far too many people and not enough resources to go around, salvage and component fields are slow to respawn and most of the time have been surrounded by trenches/bunkers made by Regiments making the area soo small that many people can't farm because there is no room to move if there are other people there. I loved playing backline logi when I was on the Charlie server, to me it had the right amount of players on it, it wasn't overcrowded, there were plenty of battles and I felt like I was making a difference by making and delivering the stuff that the frontline needed but now I don't. I log on, go to backline, can't farm because resource nodes are empty, Regiment facilities loaded with supplies going nowhere (shells, sandbags etc) just sitting there doing nothing. I feel like I have wasted my money because I can't do what I loved doing in the game because of overcrowding and going to the frontlines is a nightmare for me. For example, wait at border for 10 min or so due to many other people trying to get into the hex I want to get into. Finally get into hex, go to trenches or whatever to help, get killed within a few minutes of being there. Rinse and repeat, it's not fun for me. Pointless looking at chat now, ask a question and it's gone, lost into the sea of idiots spouting on about politics or some other bs to get a rise out of people, it's toxic. Even though I do like the game, at this moment in time I do not recommend it.
Spent over an hour crafting a scout plane, and then shortly after taking off from airfield the game disconnected and I lost the plane. I repeated this again, one hour to craft, got in the plane, lasted 10 minutes before another disconnect and again lost the plane. Did some research and found this is an issue with the game for years now. The sentiment that "this game doesn't respect your time" you see in many reviews is bang on.
