About
Foxhole is a massively multiplayer game where thousands of players shape the outcome of a persistent online war that lasts for weeks. Players ARE the content in this sandbox war game. Every individual soldier is a player that contributes to the war effort through logistics, base building, reconnaissance, combat, and more.
Massively Multiplayer Warfare - Thousands of players connect to the same world and fight in a persistent war that lasts for weeks. Immerse yourself in a sandbox that includes hundreds of hand crafted towns, villages, and other areas of interest.
Logistics - Comprehensive logistics game where every bullet, weapon, vehicle, and drop of fuel is produced and supplied by real players. Win battles by cutting off supply lines or sabotaging infrastructure behind enemy lines.
Trench Networks - Fortify your front line with trench lines and bunker networks. Build underground bases with ammunition storage, engine rooms, intelligence centers, and artillery emplacements.
Weather System - A fully dynamic weather system that simulates snow and rain storms. Weather can have a profound impact on the battlefield, freezing over rivers, disabling equipment, and limiting artillery effectiveness.
No Man’s Land - Unleash devastating artillery bombardments that can permanently level towns and transform landscapes into a desolate no man's land.
Tank Combat - Dozens of tank classes and variants supporting tank crews with gunner, commander, and engineer roles. Tanks can be tracked, have their fuel tanks ruptured, or be disabled and feature an armor system with penetration and deflection mechanics.
Naval Warfare - Construct impressive fleets of Battleships, Destroyers, and Submarines. Launch massive beach invasions to claim territory on distant shores.
Train System - Players can design and build large scale railway systems, enabling supplies, vehicles, and other equipment to be hauled over long distances across the persistent world.
Facilities - Construct and manage industrial bases that can be developed into mass production centers or shipping ports servicing hundreds of logistics players every day.
Air Warfare - Build and operate squadrons of recon planes, fighters, bombers, and other specialized aircraft.
Paratrooping - Paradrop behind hostile lines to cripple key infrastructure and disrupt enemy logistics.

Nukes
game boils down to large groups abusing/bullying small groups and solos. They will regularly mass report people who can't defend themselves just because its a quick way of removing them from the game. Mass reporting is an automatic ban, regardless of whether or not you broke a rule. Foxhole is very poorly optimized. The game runs terribly on worse machines despite mundane graphics. I get significant lag flying a plane (rtx 5080 btw) doesnt seem like the devs dont care about these issues and theyre moving onto their next game! Yay!

Multiple people from my regiment Element were suspended by two trolls coming over from Charly server, the two regiment members I asked to jump into the hex to help report them were also suspended less then 24 hr's later.. This game is dead to us unless the dev's reverse this which let's be honest they won't. Good luck guy's it's been fun playing with you for years but this game has gotten to toxic for us to continue.
The developers don't fight cheating I've put serious hours into Foxhole and love the concept, but there's a real problem the devs keep ignoring: cheating and sabotage go almost completely unpunished. There are no proper anti-cheat tools, no effective reporting system, and griefing/sabotage accounts run wild with basically no consequences. You can pour hours into building and defending, only to watch it all get wiped by people abusing exploits — and the devs won't compensate the players who lost everything, or even acknowledge it. When cheaters face no risk and honest players get punished for playing fair, it drains the motivation to keep going. Foxhole has incredible potential, but until the devs take cheating and sabotage seriously and give players real tools to fight it, I can't fully recommend it.
This game needs anti cheat
This is one of the most interesting Indie MMOs I've ever played, seen, or even heard of. It has hundreds to thousands of hours of replayability, (mostly) fun and active gameplay, a deep and complex logistics loop, and one of the best communities I've experienced in gaming, period. However as of late, the development team has gone astray. Their "vision" for how they expect the game to be played is in stark contrast with how the game is *actually* played, and so the last few major content updates have destabilized the game further and further. The majority of balance patches have been esoteric and arbitrary, and only very recently have the devs even been communicating with their playerbase. I still think it's a good game, and I hope that by leaving a positive review of it, I can influence more people to play this gem. I know it's not in the best spot right now, but I'm truly hopeful and optimistic that it will bounce back from the brink and grow to be even better than it was before!
This game is best enjoyed when offering or asking for help. It's a team sport.
The Devs of foxhole just can't seem to properly balance this game. A few wars ago colonial was being unfairly treated by updates, now it has swing the other way around, where warden is now being badly effected by the updates. I am posting this review because it's the only way for the siegeworks to pay attention to the health of the game.
Too much cheating.(Aim bot , material duplications ,etc) No quality of life improvement, dev don't play their game so balancing of equipment/vehicles is so bad. Their VISION keep alienating players.
