A really good and simple, short game to pass the time. You must keep your eye peeled a lot for food and firewood as you traverse the barren landscape in order to find the resources that your family needs to survive. One session, you may have very few and sparse items over a run or another session, you could have all the luck in the world and have a ton of items in your storage at the very end of the game. Even if you feel like you have plenty of stock, you always worry or wonder if there'll be a lot of blizzards or very few to no items. For what little it cost, it was definitely worth it to play.

For a game that is only 7 MB's it's a grand experiance. The basic and repetative gameplay may not seem like much, but it's simplisity breeds enjoyment.

Very cute simple game. I enjoyed it all the way through.

Nur weil ein hohes Tier, in irgendeinem Land hockt das Jenseits des großen Teiches ist, der Meinung war das die Globaleerwärmung eine Lüge von Hollywood ist, wurden unsere 4 Füchse vom umschlagenden Wetter überrascht. Nun muss Papa Fuchs in den eisigen Wald ziehen und die keckernden Welpen mit Essen und Feuerholz versorgen, da es allgemein bekannt ist, das Füchse einen Kamin im Bau haben. Aber ernsthaft jetzt: Man spielt einen anthropomorphen Fuchs der seine Rolle als Hauptversorger nachkommen muss (Anthro: Das sind Tiere die sich wie Menschen verhalten siehe Fabeln oder Märchen.) weswegen man versucht Nahrung und Feuerholz zu sammeln. Nahrung wird mittels Freiwild zufällig gespawnt das man in Fuchs Manier töten muss (ducken und springen) und Holz wird zufällig im Wald gedroppt. Anfangs weis man nicht wie man irgendwelche Aktionen ausführt, bis einem die Fähe sagt das es ein Buch gibt mit dem Titel: ,,Fuchsen für Dumme :P". Das Buch erklärt einem nun das Spiel und gut ist. Irgendwann wird man ein richtiger Fuchs Pro und man hat sich sein Revier gemerkt, das man dann hüpfend immer wieder abgrast. Die selben Steine, die selben Bäume, die selbe Musik. Und die Nachbarn die einem nur die Zeit klauen die man braucht um zu jagen und Holz zusammeln. Mehr kann man dazu nichts sagen. Man ist wirklich nur darauf konzentriert Holz zusammeln und zu jagen und es zu bunkern. Man muss 1 Monat aushalten dann hat man das Spiel gewonnen. Klingt es nach einem guten Spiel? Ganz ehrlich...nein. Es wird mit der Zeit dröge. Im Trailer jedoch wird versprochen das man irgendwann einmal ein Inventar hinzufügt und noch vieles andere. Ob das Spiel jedoch dadurch besser wird glaube ich nicht wirklich. Aber ich lasse mich überraschen.

Maitre Renard, ayant gambadé tout l'été, se trouva fort dépourvu quand le blizzard fut venu. Pas un seul petit morceau d'écureuil ou d'oiseau. Il alla crier famine chez la RNG sa voisine, la priant de lui prêter, quelque brindille pour se chauffer, quelque lapin pour subsister jusqu'à la saison nouvelle. La RNG n'est pas prêteuse, c'est là son moindre défaut. Que faisiez-vous au temps chaud ? Dit-elle à cet emprunteur. - Nuit et jour à tout venant je gambadais, ne vous déplaise. - Vous gambadiez ? j'en suis fort aise. Eh bien! courez dans la neige maintenant. La morale de cette histoire est que je suis pas un bon client pour un jeu aussi simple et répétitif qui me laisse la sale impression que seule la RNG décide. Joueur mort d'ennui au 7ème jour. Bon, en même temps, pour 2 euros, c'est mignon et propre. Juste vide quoi. Mouais, très vide, 2 euros c'est cher payé. A réserver aux fans de survival hyper minimaliste. Et encore.

I really like the atmosphere and artstyle, but the controls are very bad and my hands hurt so much after playing for just a bit that I had to give up. It's arrow keys and then A and S for certain actions, not remappable and no controller support, arrow keys is always very painful (for me at least). The other thing is how finding supplies can be far too difficult, my first playthrough for several days I had no wood or sticks spawn anywhere at all, so I tried resetting and that fixed it, but after my second day I would run around the whole map and struggle to find even a single little bird. I don't like writing negative reviews, so please take this as a recommendation on how the game could be improved and not as complaining or anything of that kind ❤

Fun, but kind of a shame that you cant leave the game and come back from where you left off. fun tho

Sweet little game about fox doing fox thing. I think what makes this work so well is that the player is never disclosed how many days winter lasts, it makes the chore feel a lot more unconditional and selfless. I wish there was more interaction within the house, dialogues repeat and the family is always doing the same things. Sometimes you hoard enough resources to take a day off and you wish you could get a cutscene or something of you playing with your kids or something like that as a reward. Anyways, play this.
