About
FOUNDRY is a first-person (first-robot?) factory builder with complete creative freedom set in a procedurally generated and infinite voxel world.
Land on an unexplored planet and design a giant automated robot production facility under the watchful direction of your AI friend, Carl. Navigate the complexities of interstellar trade and sell your products through interplanetary trade networks to reach your final goal: galactic industrial domination.

Progress from manual resource extraction to a fully automated and perfectly optimized factory.
Construct towering machinery and snaking networks of conveyor belts and pipes with no limits on where you build.
Explore a vibrant voxel world and sculpt the landscape block by block.
Research new, more advanced technologies to meet the demands of your ever-growing production lines.
Personalize your creation by unlocking decorative items and new color options.
Maintain a complex power system to keep your factory running at top speed.
Work solo or recruit outside contractors in online or LAN co-op multiplayer.
Create an enormous factory complex stretching from deep underground to the planet’s surface and the skies above.

Create a mechanically magnificent factory and a work of industrial art integrating your creation into the environment around you. Set up your machines far below the surface, high in the sky and everywhere in between. Grid-based construction gives you precise control over where and what you build.
Land on an unexplored planet and explore a procedurally generated sandbox. Journey through dense jungles, gigantic mountain ranges, and great plains stretching into the horizon, with even more to discover beneath the surface.

Design intricate systems of conveyor belts, long-distance transport networks, pipes and elevators from deep underground to automate your research. Unlock more advanced, complex and faster technology to optimize your factory and maximize production.
You’ll start by crafting items and harvesting resources manually but will soon find yourself setting up assembly lines piece by piece to devise a system that flows perfectly. Combine form, fit and function to create a smooth setup that effortlessly transforms raw materials into galaxy-grade robot products without you lifting a metallic finger.

Bottlenecks are your enemies. Remember to maintain a delicate balance between inputs and outputs so that productivity reaches its maximum potential, enabling you to progress through an extensive research tree.
Ensure that manufacturing runs at full speed. Keep your power supply well-fed and, as your factory expands, unlock upgraded machinery, advanced power generators and new customization options that will add efficiency and a splash of color to your production lines.
Work solo or collaborate in co-op and engineer creative solutions to complex logistical challenges in a vast voxel world.

lil goofy at first but once you get into it its fun
As someone who loves base building style games I was deeply intrigued by Foundry and its concepts. I think for anyone interested in this genre of game would enjoy it. It has a playful charm and a unique style that I have not seen in other games like this one. I particularly liked the High voltage to low voltage system they have in the game as it added some unique style choices on how I wanted to provide power to my base. Overall a fun game, but seems unrefined (early access) I have a few general issues with the game, 1) No hazards, Makes for a friendly game focused more on base building, but makes for a boring game. I mean, you can swim in lava, be underwater indefinitely, and no fall damage completely defeats the purpose of elevators, It is way faster to just jump down the elevator shaft and click the "respawn" button. Simple environmental adjustments would improve the game. 2) Terminals, by far the most annoying part of this game are the terminals. You can only adjust the machines recipe from them, Allowing us to access our machines from any angle would seriously improve quality of life. In addition, making the font on the crafting requirements bigger would be helpful. I completely looked over the parts per minute until I unlocked Oulomite, and I noticed it in a tiny font. Fixing that would go miles. 3) Science Progression, I enjoy the idea of science packs and I think its a great way for us to develop into later parts of the game. However, it does feel as though once I have the science packs automated progression goes too fast, and I don't have time to understand what I have just unlocked by the time another thing has been unlocked. Maybe try topping out the efficiency of the upgrade stations, like the 1st one gives 100% 2 gives 200% 3 gives 250% 4 would give 275% etc. I think slowing us down would help with the overall pacing of the game. With that out of the way, I did love plenty about this game. Drill ships, and all the lil robots make for an amazing experience. The handhelds were my favorite part, personal drones baby!! :D Everything handheld was very satisfying. Overall a decent experience with a lot going for it. I hope my review was helpful to those that read it. Have a blessed day.

The foundation is very good, though i found the UI to be a bit clutter its much better than Satisfactory in my opinion, might come back in a few years to see how far its gone but right now i don't have the time for a factory game
cool
My god the absolute jank of trying to connect belts together to loaders. Why have loaders? Just use the damn belts. Edit: Never mind after I got used to it, this is actually easy to get the hang of. After I played for a while I found the fixing of the space station interesting, and the galactic inventory / market is cool.

Macht mit freunden echt fun.
Basically if Satisfactory and Factorio had a kid with Minecraft and Stellaris as its Common relative.
