Avoid this title!! I have always wanted to try out Forza or the Grand Turism series, however being soooo spoilt for choice for sim titles on PC I never considered playing those. Yesterday I finally took the plunge & purchased Forza Motorsport as it was 50% off such a great deal! I installed it after downloading the 130gb+ file & deleted it requesting a refund 90 minutes after playing it (or attempted to play it ). PRO: - 50% off MSRP price sale on now. - Graphics are OK considering game is a few years old now. - If you're able to get the game working properly (unfortunately I couldn't), I can see it that it could be a fun driving game.. Now onto my issues.... CONS: - Everytime you load up the game there's no option to skip the long winded introduction screen sequences . - Controls are hard to configure & then when you have gone through customising & binding them , it wouldn't save. - During first play, you are forced to complete a tutorial demo drive, during this time there is no visible exit button, you have to alt-f4 or ctrl/alt/del to exit back, back to desktop!! ... not even able to go back to main menu!! - I was stuck in 1st gear throughout my time in the tutorial demo part, whether i was using manual or auto transmission options. trying both my gear shifter or my gear paddles on my wheel neither was successful. The car was in 1st gear so could rev the engine but the vehicle wouldn't move forward, like I was stuck with what felt like a handbrake or brakes were on, I couldn't resolve it. - SImagc Evo Pro even with a profile pre-loaded for Forza, runs terribly. I restarted the tutorial several times & it started working, FFB was not great. Basic vibration on curbs, wheel goes numb when turning off centre L ro R, barely any resistance even after tinkering with settings in SIMPRO manager & in-game. I couldn't enjoy the tracks & cars that I was looking so forward to trying out last night, as the experiences I had during that first hour put me off. I was so excited & now disappointed. I would avoid this game.
Great game for circuit racing. Graphics are good. Game is stable. Very fun racing game in my opinion.
这游戏很不错啊 对手柄适配也很好 不知道为啥玩的人不多不理解
I’ve spent some solid time with Forza Motorsport, and honestly, it’s one of the cleanest racing experiences I’ve had in a while. The driving feels super refined — every car actually has its own personality, and you can really feel the difference in handling, grip, and braking. The physics are way more realistic compared to older versions, which makes every race more intense and rewarding. Graphically, the game looks stunning. The lighting, track details, and weather effects make a huge difference, especially during longer races where conditions change. It genuinely feels immersive, not just visually but overall.
Tuning completely ruined this game, on multiplayer people will just get crazy tunes that make no sense at all but the physics engines reward them by sliding trough corners as if they're skateboarding the car on rails and that will make their cars 1-4 seconds faster than a more sane tuning, career mode is ok but if you go above avatar 6 difficulty you will need the same crazy tunings, so in the end its a tuning game not a racing game, may the best tuner win
This is my first game in the franchise and I'm not sure what the state of the game was at launch, but as in 2026, I would consider Forza Motorsport to be quite a good experience overall, but could be improved upon in future iterations. On the positive side, the cars are very fun to drive and feel pretty robust. Sounds and graphics sure are top notch (really hope FH6 can match that). The circuits are varied and the dynamic weather really adds to it. Singleplayer campaign races are just long enough where you feel things will really move in the pack, but not so long that they would be exhausting. On the negative side, I don't really appreciate the upgrade system through Car Points, it's such a grind to level up each car; perhaps it would be more enjoyable if they were shared across cars per brand? On another note, the vocal presentation for the circuits become a bit annoying after a while, maybe an optional Trivia button in the stands menu would work well instead. Finally, the somewhat regular locks in loading screens and crashes make playing the game irritating by moment. Overall, I believe the offer is fair, but I wouldn't rush to purchase it at full-price.
This game is VASTLY better than everybody says!!!! A huge selection of cool cars (a slightly different roster from Forza Horizon), and a solid selection of some of the coolest race tracks. The customization and tuning is so satisfying! The car handling feels more realistic than Forza Horizon, but is still great on controller There's some janky features for sure, and the game is a bit expensive. But overall, I think it's really great.
