About

Responding to an unusual alarm call from a remote mining base, Jack arrives at the dark and desolate Fort Solis. With storm warnings imminent, he heads inside to make desperate contact. As the night grows longer, events escalate, spiral out of control and the mystery of what happened to the crew begins to reveal itself. The storms is approching, limiting Jack’s escape as he looks to hold out until morning arrives.

Fort Solis looks to deliver a high-fidelity experience designed to completely immerse the player in the cast and their long night. With performances from Roger Clark, Troy Baker and Julia Brown, Fort Solis looks to deliver emotion, fear, empathy and much more with every chapter.
Supporting the core narrative are additional instances of story such as audio logs, surveillance footage of past or present events. Accompanying those are video logs recorded by all crew detailing the events before and perhaps even after that night the alarm was triggered at Fort Solis…

The story is told across four chapters. Like a Netflix series, Fort Solis can be binged in one intense session, or played chapter by chapter like an episodic TV show.
Fort Solis brings to players, the next level of details, facial and body animations. With the help of Unreal Engine 5.2 Fort Solis realistic universe is brought to life!

The skeleton of Fort Solis is built above and below ground. The base contains a variety of locations each with their own surface and sub surface levels. Players will be able to explore the isolated storm bearing surface, the creepy service tunnels absent of any light or the multiple departments that help Fort Solis function on a day-to-day basis such as Engineering, Medical and Communications.
As the story unfolds locations can easily be revisited for additional story context or continue to serve as a backdrop to the fate that awaits Jack with each passing hour.

The dialogue is good, but that's about it. The game, if you can call it that, is a walking simulator and it's does even that badly with the horrible controls and camera placement. The main character moves like a heavy truck on ice spinning out of control. The quick time events are way to important and impact the outcome of the story. The time window that you as a player get to actual press the buttons is really short in some scenarios. This game is not worth even on a huge sale, save yourself the hassle of dealing with the bad controls and spend your money on something else.
the graphics, assets, incredible. the premise, hooked me the gameplay? missing. Camera and Movement controls are horrendous, This should have been an animated movie. the narrative intialy rewards you engagement but falls apart by the end, unsatisifing final 'chapter'
Fort Solis delivers an immersive cinematic experience, enriched by exceptional voice acting, stunning graphics, and elements such as audio and video that enhance the narrative. Exploration, collectibles, and the gradual unfolding of the plot contribute to the suspense, while excellent visuals and animation are highlighted, although movement can occasionally be stuttered. Despite being relatively short, Fort Solis offers a memorable journey into its unique universe. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3741668422
Fort Solis is a game I had to do a lot of contemplating on. Its one of those games I wish had a neutral option vs the thumbs up/down. I enjoyed the game, It definitely feels like more of a movie playing out. Very slow, very narrative. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring, investing in the lore and the story, but the ending truly rubbed me the wrong way. There are two total endings. Its a very short game. I supposedly got what's considered the "good" ending, though I don't see either ending being that way. After much investment and debate, I am going to give the game a positive review, mainly because the list of what I enjoyed outweighs the list of what I didn't. I just wish there was a bit more variety with the endings.
The game is walking simulator with fully voiced, so naturally the gameplay will be on the weaker side and it will focus on the story, which is so-so, since there are good moments and there are also bad and plothole moments (which game doesn't have), but the endings (there are two endings, but you only need to do a certain actions at the end to get the other) and the post-credit scene doesn't put a conclusion/explanation to the game's story. But what is even worse, and probably the worst thing is the movement of the character. It is so off/janky that can scare away potential buyers, I got used to it after awhile, but who approved this movement controls? The game, the buildings, the Mars planet, the rooms, so basically everything looks great. The game is short, around 3-4 hours to complete, depending how much you look around and how much you use guide to know where to go, since the characters are moving rather slowly and you can easily get lost, since it can be difficult to use the map (yellow thing shows your current position - red thing shows where you need to go to progress the game - and if I recall well the game doesn't tell you this) Note: I have got this game for 0,6 euro and for that price I didn't mind playing this game (the isolation can create tension especially once
you know there is a crazy man trying to kill you and you cant tell which corner he is waiting for you
), but current 6,24 euro price is little bit too much for others, especially who are expecting too much from the game.
it's a kind of interactive movie and walking simulator the plot is not bad, although nothing is clear at the beginning there are collectibles and even a couple of jokes at the beginning of the game. many things can be touched and examined it's just a chill toy to look at a good picture to avoid freezes and have a smooth image, turn off DLSS there is a guide for all achievements in the community I had a good time and earned platinum don't strain your brain by walking around Mars
Not really a walking simulator, it's a trudging, plodding, slogging, tramping, trekking, lumbering, skulking, limping, meandering, scuffing simulator. A threadbare story held together with duck tape and a weak payoff. Beat the game, but there's no way I'm going back into this to hoover up the collectibles I missed. The artists and voice actors were doing some heavy lifting here. Get on sale only, if you must
