"Formular Retro Racing" ist für mich das beste F1-Spiel das ich bisher gespielt habe, das aber eigentlich kein richtiges F1-Spiel ist, sondern klar ein Arcade-Racer. Macht aber Nix, denn es bietet genau das was bei der echten Formel 1 abhanden gekommen ist: Fahrspaß! - Denn statt mir haufenweisen komplexe und undurchsichtige Regularien an den Kopf zu schmeißen, heißt es hier nur: Spielmodus aussuchen und ab auf die Piste - Rennsport- & Spaß in seiner reinsten Form! Soweit habe ich nun alle Spielmodi ausprobiert und auch durchgespielt, bisher aber leider nur Alleine. Mit mehrerem Fahrern wird das sicherlich nochmal 'ne spaßigere Nummer. Einen Online-Modus von Hause aus bietet das Spiel nicht, zumindest habe ich keinen in den Menüs gefunden, aber macht auch im Single Player schon eine menge Spaß. Was auch Spaß macht, ist wie gesagt das einfach gehaltene Gameplay, Spielmodus auswählen, Name und Autofarbe sowie Strecke festlegen und ab geht die Sause. Durch den Low Poly look wirkt es dem Namen entsprechend Retro, aber nicht veraltet, man hat stets eine gute Übersicht übe den Streckenverlauf und was mich überrascht hat, wie viel Freude mir hier die Cockpit/Motorhauben-Ansicht bereitet hat, sehr immersiv! - Sonst bevorzuge ich bei Rennspielen ja die klassische Kamera-Ansicht von hinten. So, lange Rede, kurzer Sinn. Wer unkomplizierte und spaßige Arcade-Renn-Action haben möchte ist bei "Formular Retro Racing" Goldrichtig! :) - Klare Empfehlung!

Bella musica. Mi ricorda i giochi Sega a cui giocavo da bambino. Gameplay semplice e intuitivo, rilassante e divertente. 12/10

bel giochino ,secondo me fatto molto bene! grafica a stile ^big^ poligoni alla virtua racing davvero ben fatta,e poi e come tornare indietro negli anni! molto facile ,difficile non arrivare primo, e la colonna sonora e composta da un solo brano per tutte le piste,ma per due euro ne val la pena provarlo ! bello davvero..

Edit: In comparison to this game I really like the new New Star GP. It's not so much frustating when overtaking - but still a bit, it has a lot more to offer on the side of management and variety. It feels more like a game from the 90s I wanted to like it and give it a thumbs up, but in the end something just doesn't feel right. So we got a retro looking game and the graphic design fits very well. Music is a bit repetitive but i also fits the overall retro ambitions. The handling feels quiet "realistic". My expectations were something like Ridge Racer. But that's a good thing, so driving is fun. The hit detection is awful. The slipstream effect is very powerful, but it starts way to late for an arcade game. When it begins to pull you, you have to immediately get out of it or you going to crash in the rear. Overtaking is the part where I just couldn't go any further. The AI doesn't care where you are, they just drive in to you. I always hated that, even back in Gran Turismo 1. So most of the races you have to restart, because of crashes which are casued by the AI, the slipstream or the bad collision system. Too bad, I had high hopes for a nice little gem. It also has deleted my high scores.

Excellent arcade racing game, all about taking those turns at just the right speed. Great smooth controls with F-1 (car sticks to track) type racing. Too bad all there is is basically just 8 tracks to play one by one (no championship mode) without any options, customization or features.

Arcade Feeling der 90er Jahre. Ganz die Tradition wo man damals in der Spieltheken für eine 1 DM diverse Vollgasautomaten/Simulationen und man fühlte sich ganz Groß dabei. Perfekt eingefangen und Preis angesichts der "nur" 8 Strecken um die 10 Euro. Altes Zockerherz, auch für die Jugend von heute was willst du mehr? Entspannung pur für Stunden!!!

[h1]Bought it for the 90s style, but the gameplay didn't appeal to me.[/h1] I know I'm not the best at racing games, but this one leaves a bitter taste in my mouth after playing it, the driving and the controls feel wrong, they could definitely improve it, and adding it to a 90s retro style this could be awesome. I tried to play it longer than an hour, but it was such a chore that I had to uninstall it, I wasn't having fun with it. Played on Steam Deck with no issues.
