if you like AG racers (mainly wipeout), buy this game if you like the late 90's cyberworld/electrosphere aesthetic, buy this game (it even has good CRT filters) if you like lore that explains how the automotive industry transitioned to hovercars, buy this game if you think the AAA racing game space has stagnated to no end, BUY THIS GAME and support indie racers
One of the best AG racing games out there, no doubts about it. This is fast, stylish, and, more importantly, a very fun game with perfect physics and feel of speed. I'm mostly playing this on my Steam Deck, and I can say it works flawlessly (60 FPS and all that juice)!
This is an absolutely fantastic wipeout clone! I am shocked at how cheap it was as well, but the game is awesome. Controls are tight which is key, UI is fantastic and there is a great tutorial to get you going if your not use to AG racers. Even though there are no weapons and no Multiplayer (not sure if it's coming in the future) this is still a fantastic AG racer and should not be passed up especially at the ridiculously low price!
i wrote out vroooooom, but i realized that the vehicles in this game do not go vroooom. wtf is my life
True hidden gem. Nice Anti Gravity racing game similar to Wipeout. Recommended

Better than BallisticNG but it"s not really good. Early impressions 5/10.
One of the better AG Racers, right there with BallisticNG, but somehow this game feels "comfier" to me. Great physics, great vibes.
ArcRacer provides a unique take on the anti gravity racing genre. The graphics are a simple retro style but it works. I like to think of it as anti graving racing meets TRON. The gameplay itself is easy to learn and difficult to master. You collect energy which can be used for boost or to restore your shields. You'll need to balance how you use them. Using energy boosts with boost pads offer for some really fun boost combos. You can take this a step further with jump boosts. When your ship bounces off the track you can hit the accelerator again for another boost. All of this combined makes for a very unique racing experience! There are five difficulty settings and four speed classes as well as multiple leagues in campaign. You also have free race. There are several types of events including single race, speed lap, time trial, zen (which is ArcRacer's version of survival). I'm currently having a lot of fun with this game so if you're looking for a unique AG racing game give ArcRacer a shot!
I've only played for an hour, but that's long enough to find out I love this game. The handling model is a dream to control and the sense of speed is great. My only wish is that it had multiplayer.
