I played First Steps and really liked it, but so far I am not enjoying Disillusion nearly as much. I would hate to give this game a thumbs down because I do appreciate the style of this game but I do hope the Forgotten Hill games I play after this one will be much more enjoyable.

超级好玩!
Nice game. Can take days to complete but it doesn't get boring!
круто
Really enjoyed this game and others in the series. Disturbingly dystopian atmosphere and puzzles that are challenging but solvable with a bit of thought and exploration. We loved it!
画风比较阴间,谜题数量多,质量上乘,几部玩下来,DISILLUSION设计的最牛,流程也最长。跟锈湖异曲同工,都有自己一套世界背景和符号,相比之下锈湖柔和多了……
very clever puzzles, kept me occupied for hours
Overall I really enjoyed this game, though it's a mixed bag in terms of gameplay. I managed to complete the game without using any of the hints, which for me is a good sign that a game has an internal logic and flow that's challenging but fair. However, this took a lot of patience and stepping away from the game to cool my head. The box with the "?" on the top right of the screen is a hit-or-miss in terms of whether it would tell me there's an interactable element on the screen, which in other games from this studio would have helped me whenever I got stuck. There's also one puzzle with a projector screen that wasn't entirely intuitive for me. I also think the "Devil's Game" board game puzzle to defeat the bosses was my least favorite part since it was tediously repetitive (you have to play 3 levels for every boss, with zero variations) and not scaled in difficulty (some levels are exceedingly difficult while others required no effort, and you never know which you'll get). Though the worst part is the quick-time event to kill the guard. I will say I did enjoy the length of gameplay and the mechanics that are part of it. The camera and the watch added layers to the puzzles that I liked. Very reminiscent of Fran Bow. I got a good chuckle out of one of the discoveries from this back-and-forth reality shift (
I was stuck trying to figure out what to do with the POOP in my inventory, had to change realities to enter a room, and was like OH inventory items are affected too
). I'm also really glad I wasn't penalized for not getting the true ending when I escaped on my first pass. My heart sunk at having to potentially do the game all over again, but NO. If you press play again, you're sent back to just before you escaped so that you can complete anything you missed. Very good move by the developers. Definitely recommend this game in spite of some flaws.
