Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The truth is in the details.
In Forensics: Crime Scene Detective, you are the scientific authority that provides investigators with the facts. Your work begins when the sirens fade and silence settles over the crime scene.

With a cool head and a trained eye, you enter apartments, bars, and basements where something unimaginable has happened — or is said to have happened. Equipped with professional tools, you search for what others miss: a subtle fingerprint on a wine glass, a deleted message on a smartphone, a tiny blood spatter that casts doubt on a statement.

From Crime Scene to Laboratory:
Securing evidence is only the beginning. In the lab, the evidence tells its story. You compare DNA profiles, reconstruct bullet trajectories, decrypt digital devices, and piece together fragments into a clear overall picture. Your analyses incriminate perpetrators — or exonerate the innocent. Not every bloody crime scene is a murder. And not everything that seems obvious is the truth.

“Based on the experience and insights of experts from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate (LKA RLP).”
With professional guidance from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate, the game portrays forensic work as authentically as possible. Experience cases drawn from real life: sober, logical, and relentless in their evaluation of evidence. Find the traces. Analyze the facts. Reveal the truth.

Realistic Forensics:
Use authentic tools such as DNA swabs, fingerprint powder, ballistic trajectory rods, and digital forensic tools.
16 authentic Cases, Real Methods:
Missions are inspired by real scenarios and based on the experience and insights of real experts from the State Criminal Police Office Rhineland-Palatinate (LKA RLP).
Crime Scene Work & Laboratory Analysis:
The gameplay loop challenges you twice — first through meticulous crime scene investigation, then through logical data analysis in the lab.
Incriminate or Exonerate:
Your work determines the fate of suspects. Discover whether it was self-defense, murder, an accident, or a staged crime scene.
Your Instinct Matters:
You decide which traces are relevant. Overlooked evidence can leave a case unsolved.

great
I absolutely loved the game. Not someone to write reviews in general, but I felt quite some hesitation buying the game due to the negative reviews. Many bugs were fixed and I had a blast playing for 10+ hours. I do hope more cases will be made where, maybe, we will also be able to do the deduction part of the game/ where new PD's will be added. However, in general, if you like forensics games, I feel like it is a great option!
The absolute bane of my existence is the DNA comparison. OMFG. It has glitched out the case 4 separate times. The 2nd bane of my existence is the ballistics. I would love to be able to carry evidence markers and my camera at the same time. It would be very nice rather than crossing a space 180000000000 times because ooops there is somehow overlap. FIDDLY NONSENSE. Otherwise the game is relatively enjoyable.

Aktuell keine Empfehlung.!
I really enjoyed this game! The tutorial might feel a little overwhelming at first, but good luck playing without it, haha! Once you learn the basics, the whole experience changes. The minigames are challenging and test your attention to detail and your patience, so the game might not be suitable or enjoyable for everyone. The game does have some bugs, but the developers have done a great job addressing them. Overall, it’s a really good game, and I highly recommend it if you’re into this genre!
I already played the demo of Forensics and had been looking forward to the full release ever since. As a huge true crime fan who's always been fascinated by the work of forensic investigators, this game immediately caught my attention. One thing I really appreciate is that the developers even collaborated with the Rhineland-Palatinate State Criminal Police Office (LKA), and that the cases are based on the experiences of real forensic professionals. What I enjoy most about Forensics is its focus on authentic crime scene investigation. I wasn't looking for a game where I get to play the lone detective and solve every case by myself like an episode of NCIS. Instead, I wanted to experience realistic forensic procedures—and that's exactly what this game delivers. It does a great job of showing just how much care, patience, and precision this line of work actually requires. Of course, there are still a few areas that could be improved to make the gameplay even more enjoyable, but I'm confident that future updates and patches will continue to polish the experience. The tutorial missions are clear, easy to follow, and provide a great introduction to the more challenging cases later on. I especially liked the balance between guiding the player at the beginning and gradually letting you figure things out on your own. One of my favorite aspects of the game is the variety of forensic mechanics. Collecting fingerprints instantly brought back memories of pretending to be a detective as a kid. I also loved the fingerprint analysis itself—having to carefully compare tiny details is surprisingly engaging, and it's implemented really well. If you go into Forensics expecting to support investigations through careful evidence collection and analysis, rather than playing a one-person crime-solving hero, you'll have a great time. You might even learn a thing or two about real forensic work along the way. Completing cases thoroughly and earning enough points unlocks additional investigations, which makes the price feel completely fair in my opinion. I'm already looking forward to future updates, and I'd absolutely love to see a DLC or even more cases added down the road.
Cool forensics game, I hope more types of evidence and more cases will release in the future, maybe with more complex cases as for now they are pretty simple to solve
