Forced upgrade with no option to downgrade ruined a game I have loved for years. Has put me off getting any more games from Steam.

i played as the Inca for around 100 years from the "grand campaign" start. i was wondering where the Spanish were, so i saved the game and changed country to Spain... they were right up by my borders for at least a few decades and yet did not contact me... i also saw however i had one of the top armies of the world.. as a american culture... TLDR: i think i had such a military i think the Spanish where afraid to contact me and allow me to conquer everything around me, and make me, from the tech boost from contact, even stronger.

Great game I've played both EU1 and EU2, and this is by far the superior game it's basically both combined into greatness. The only downside, besides the fixes and patches needed, is that it's missing falalan from EU2, so adding it is a must.
