Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Afterlife VR is an atmospheric first-person horror game. The plot/gameplay is reminiscent of Outlast: the hero goes to the psychiatric hospital. Try to unravel this tangle of chaos and survive. The graphics is great, controls work well. Sounds constantly keep the player in suspense. If you are the owner of VR helmet, I highly recommend this game for purchase. It's really creepy. Perfectly selected background, intense gameplay, scary monsters, sudden screamers, riddles, chilling atmosphere, paranormal affects and exciting plot will not leave you indifferent.
👁️ Afterlife VR
Afterlife VR manages to deliver a tense and atmospheric horror experience that feels perfectly suited for virtual reality. Exploring dark corridors, hearing unsettling sounds, and slowly uncovering the mystery creates a strong sense of immersion that traditional games rarely achieve. The visual style and lighting work very well in VR, making every shadow and flicker of light feel meaningful. The interactions with the environment also add to the realism — opening doors, handling objects, and facing unexpected encounters keeps you on edge. It’s not without flaws: there are minor bugs and the gameplay could use more polish in some areas, but overall it runs smoothly and delivers what horror fans expect from a VR title.

If you enjoy psychological horror and want to experience it through VR, Afterlife VR is absolutely worth trying. I’d rate it 8/10 for its atmosphere, immersion, and potential.
This was a good horror experience. The game uses jumpscares, but in a way that works well, constantly giving that eerie feeling of something lurking around a corner. The game would benefit from more realistic models and animations to increase immersion. Even though the scares work, they’re diminished when discovering the sinister ghost is made out of polygons. This is something that could have been fixed with a higher budget. On the other hand, the sound effects work really well. The puzzles are challenging enough to keep me focused and engaged for a few minutes, allowing me to forget about the dangers lurking in the hallways. Combat can be a bit clunky, but, in a horror game, it’s not a deal breaker. I enjoyed the stealth sequence with the one enemy I couldn’t simply shoot down. The boss battle took a few attempts to figure out too. There was no deep meaning or mind-bending twist to the story, but, overall, it was an enjoyable couple of hours of VR horror fun.
Overall Score 7/10
I really liked the game, the tutorial gives you pretty much everything you'll need to be able to play the game as smooth as you can since the game does need optimization. You'll be able to beat the game in about 1 hour; however, if you want to explore and try to read all the lore, you will take longer. It does have some jumpscares, and some other horror things that will make you be afraid at some point. It is a really good game, it's just it needs optimization in regards to the gadgets menu, but other than that, the game is just fine. I do recommend you to buy it if it is on sale, since it is pretty short.
Get this game on sale...not worth 13.99. Graphics are ok but controls are horrible, especially on last battle...very wonky controls that are not easy to use. Story is BLAH and ending is terrible. And most of the game is too dark and I did not find it that scary. Overall I rate this game 5/10.
I wanted this to be a good horror game, i really did but some gameplay elements like the automatic opening of doors and draws is so tediously slow and on rails it loses tension itself and the MC constantly telling me, No wait PESTERING* me to go somewhere ruins alot of the "Find your own way around" type narrative i hoped it would have like Silent hill or Resident evil. The atmosphere is okay at best, you could tell this was heavily inspired by Outlast but other than that i would say look elsewhere if you want a good scare and don't want to be hounded by the MC saying you need to power up the elevator 11 times
Well, I couldn't move about using the vive. Controllers seem to be working fine, just not with this game! Creepy first room. Good simulation of the horror of being paralysed!
This game has potential BUT I would wait until it gets further (much) along in development. Can't say much about the story , couldn't get that far because the controls are totally borked! You have to use two sticks to run, and you better be pointing your sticks forward or you're going in circles. And what's with having to use the trigger to grip things when all controllers have a grip sensor? It's almost like a bad port in that respect. I won't refund because I hope SLS will improve the game. I'll check back and see how it's going.
Played on Valve Index, RTX 3080. It is a pretty forward horror game going with a few real good moments that made me jump (and scream). Mostly about finding a code or key and progress to the next section of the facility. Save points are really fair set and the game has 3 difficulty levels. It took me about 3 hours to finish and it was a good choice for Spooktober streaming. The devs obviously had fun implementing references to real people as their patients in the asylum. The battery changing was a bit of a hassle on my Index, but I learned during the game to how it worked on the Index controllers, but that was the only "problem", also you mostly have all the time to change batteries. A big plus for the idea of doing the running NOT like the majority of other games by pressing in the thumbstick, but just pushing up BOTH thumbsticks then. My controllers say thank you for that. The graphics could be a bit better, but I do not think that is a big problem for having fun with the game.
