About
If you’ve played traditional football managers, you’re probably familiar with the following feelings:
Complex attributes: Footballers have many attributes, and you don’t always understand which ones truly affect the match outcome. Often, the only strategy becomes buying high-level players instead of finding a footballer whose unique attribute perfectly suits your tactics.
Unclear results: You never really know why you win or lose. This forces players to search for "winning" formations on forums instead of analysing the opponent and consciously selecting footballers capable of exploiting their weaknesses.
Financial complexity: Club funds quickly disappear, and it’s hard to understand how to manage finances and strategically plan expenditures.
Football, Tactics & Glory is a game about full control and a complete understanding of what’s happening on the pitch and in the club:
Transparency of attributes: You always know exactly how each footballer’s attribute impacts the encounters, allowing you to customise formations for each opponent, defeating even stronger teams with the right player selection and tactical approach. This also makes transfers much more interesting and exciting.
Control over tactics: Feel like a real coach, making smart tactical decisions, not just changing formations hoping for luck.
Control over luck: Luck plays a big role, as in real football. But you can minimise its impact by understanding your players’ abilities and building the team around your playstyle.
Strategic financial planning: The game’s economy is designed so that you always feel in control of your finances. The game demonstrates the importance of strategies like "developing" footballers for sale and finding promising talents who will become your future stars.
No micromanagement: This is a game about strategic planning, not micromanagement. Instead of wasting time on increasing an attribute by 0.01%, you make decisions that significantly affect the club’s fate. Therefore, the game lacks the boring elements of football managers: endless spreadsheets, routine tasks, and unimportant mechanics.
Great variety: FTG is so deep that even after hundreds of hours, you’ll continue discovering new and interesting things. The game world develops uniquely each time, creating new challenges and exciting emergent stories. This makes each campaign different from the last one.
The game values your time: You can complete one football season in a few real hours instead of days, as in other football managers. At the same time, each season is packed with events and interesting decisions.
Comprehensive tutorial: The game explains all elements in detail. And if you still have questions, the active community will answer them on the forum or Discord.
Good turn-based mechanics allow complex systems to be simplified, while retaining their essence and emotions. For example, XCOM perfectly conveys the feel of firefights with aliens, and Civilization — the development of a civilisation.
Our turn-based system uses key football concepts to make match outcomes and your tactical decisions clear and transparent. Once you understand how these mechanics work, you’ll feel the emotions inherent in real football.
Additionally, the ability to take your time with each move allows for comfortable gameplay. Especially if you’re over 40 and don’t have the reaction speed you once had.
Yes, it’s a serious football manager that’s easy to start playing due to its apparent simplicity, but hard to stop because of the depth of its features.
Take your club to the top: Start in the lower league and lead your club to the heights of world football. Or choose any club in the Premier League or another league of your choice.
Create your own leagues and clubs: With the built-in editor, you can create real clubs and leagues.
Use modifications: Take advantage of numerous mods created by the player community.
Dynamic game world: Other clubs buy and sell players, train them, and develop youth — the game world lives and evolves with you.
Promotion and relegation system: Each country has a Premier League and several lower leagues. Teams are promoted or relegated between leagues depending on their final position. Top teams from different countries participate in continental tournaments similar to the Champions League and Europa League.
Club development: Improve infrastructure, hire coaches, and develop your Youth Academy.
Unique players: A powerful face generation system makes each footballer unique. The face editor is also available for you.
Online matches: Play a friendly match with a friend online.
Co-op play: Create a tournament and play a season with friends on one computer (or online via Remote Play Together). Up to 32 people can participate in the tournament.
Twitch integration: Viewers can interact with the game via chat.

!!!Disclaimer!!! This is not an insult. This is an honest and accurate review. If you don't like it, it says more about you then me. Game has flashes of fun ideas. But it ends up being boring. Early game without developed players the game is an absolute chore. And if you choose to skip it and go with a pro team the game is an absolute nightmare bogged down with... idk. It's just a mess. It's ultimately an overly convoluted rock paper scissors simulator with gambling elements. As every action relies on different amounts of rng, depending on the game settings you use. The limited customization options and impossibly slow pacing kill this game for me personally. Oh I got a 5 star recruit. Its another goalie... I already have one of these. Well. I guess I could've spent every resource I made last year to try and get a forward instead of improving my team and maxing injury recovery, seeing as how 2-4 players get injured each game. Unless you sub them out before they are at 70% stamina. Which means they don't get stats, which means they don't level... Hmmm... Oh! I got the 5 star forward recruit?! Oh... and he can choose from slide tackle, header and cannon shot... right... So... trash... Very cool. Well, there is always next year. Decisions, decisions, decisions. And all of them suck. Also. It should be noted that the dev seems unhinged. He is releasing a new game at 35 euros, which is basically this game, but racist. So we'll see how that goes. Like no discount for people who have the non-racist version already, along with a history of hilariously overpriced dlc for what is essential a large flash game. Idk. The whole thing is weird. P.S. The team with the larger numbers absolutely do win unless you've just so happen to have trained into rock and the other teamed trained into scissors. In which case the outcome gets A LITTLE fuzzy. And because the only way to develop the rock and scissors aspects of players is through playing in game, in games, its hard to have fully developed "counter" subs. And if you buy them, so can other teams, and that would just adds to the mess. Because there is still rng. If you don't have rng enabled, the lower team will never win, but if you have rng enabled, then literally anything can happen. Because that's what rng is. Gambling. Not tactics. It can be strategy. But it's very shallow as it boils the gore game-play down to risk mitigation. And yeah, yeah, I know the rock paper scissors is the "tactics" part. But you have no control over what players spawn and what talents they can develop. You could go 2 full years without being able to get your hands on a forward with nutmeg, and even then you have to settle. They are over 30, a 3 star player, etc. And if that's the only weakness of the other team. It sucks to suck i guess. It's a gambling simulator with notes of risk management. P.S.S. Cannonball absolutely sucks. Any team with a sweeper completely counters the ability. And slide tackle can be useful on offense, but what it won't do is put the ball in the net. And if you need a guy to do that...yeah. Not helpful. Header is meh. But ultimately relies on the other team not having header, their goalie can't have high control, or the skill that lets them play out, as well and you having a wing player with the ability to reliably cross the ball while also hoping there is a gap for the header player to attack. Comparatively, nutmeg, Olympic kick and rainbow feint are infinitely more useful skills as they work on a 1 to 1 basis. But seeing as you seem to be struggling, what I was actually referring to was the fact that each player gets randomly assigned 3 abilities and you have no control over what they are and have to pay more and it takes longer to develop the ones further down on the list. Nice unprovoked insults by the way. Very big of you to take the high ground. "Waa! somebody doesn't like my game! Waa! They must not understand it and suck at it! Waa!" Played football all my life dude. Coached it for two years. Reworked and re-coded 3 games. Your game is just mid and your business practices are questionable at best.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

2165 hours from now. Record holder on Steam for me so far concerning time spent with. And no end in sight. And I am not even a die-hard football (for US viewers: socccer) afficiniado. Nor do I have much clue about football either. What do I like about it? It is scalable, allowing you to have an easy or very hard time. Ok, that is not uncommon. It is easy to learn, but also hard to master at times. If you play against 5-stars teams with a 3.5 stars team, good luck. You can choose your own pace. Simulate the match, not bothering to control it yourself? Here you go. You prefer full control? Sure, that's the core of the game. As a manager game it is not overloaded, but simplified to what is necessary without having to finetune stuff like ticket prices, or training camps. A matter of taste, but perfect for me who dislikes micro-managing. If you want you could call it a grand strategy football managing game. Dislikes: some trouble with the display settings. I use a 49" screen and so far was just not comepent enough to get it into a small windowed screen of 1280x1024. And this has been an issue since I got the screen in 2022. And if that's all it's a minor complaint even in my book. Did I buy every DLC? Yes. And every DLC added smething useful to it. Would I recommend this game? Look at the time I spent with it. Yes, for sure. But I am also aware it is not for everyone! For other persons it might exactly not be what they hope for. E.g. I also like "Motorpsort Manager" very much, but the much more simplified manager game "Golden Lap" was returned as it was way too simplified for me concerning the genre. Hence I recommend to play the demo first, available on Creoteams website via download: https://creoteam.com/football-tactics-glory-press-kit/
Not recomended, there is some things that are really bad about this game, per example the quality of life about searching and recluting players (you have to search that manually one by one) and second one and more important the issues with the display/screen which make the game sometimes crash other times just freeze... which in general make you want to uninstal the game. In general the concept of the game is great, but instead of improve those stuffs the developer make DLC and well the next patch of the game called "World"... things that possibly must be within this version of the game (base game) IDK that gives you much to think about. Also the "geniality" feature makes the game worse that the first version, yeah it's a cool idea to have fixed tier players but... no, that didn't feel good at all... too bad that the creator didn't put an option to disable that or enable it as you like. And the other DLC about being manager, it feels odd too. The base game is good, but as I said, there is so many other things that could be better... and yeah, I am notorious furious about the fact my game frozen when I switch from screen to screen... which is sad.
Simplistic as this game may be, I wish footy simulators would lean more towards something like it: a clear emphasis on turn-based tactical episodes on the pitch. And definitely not an overwhelming abundance of numbers and indicators that determine how an agent's cousin would react if your assisstant dyes their hair blue - the way FM, sadly, has become.
This is so bad - for people to actually compare it to football manager series is just stupidity - the game is 90% a series of rng checks with complete disregard to anything else football related, you're just playing checkers with rng. So disappointed, thought it was actually good based on the reviews. Don't even get me started on the price, 50 ish euros for everything + dlcs? If you were to ask me which price it should be for it to be worth it I would say 5 euro for EVERYTHING, and even then I would still give it a bad review. No this does not even come close to half of what football manager series can do, and the "innovative" mechanic of adding rng checks to it is just plain ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and just not fun. DO NOT BUY
FTG is a great turn-based tactics game. Don't be fooled: this is a game more like XCOM than like FIFA. You don't need to be a big football fan to enjoy it, though some knowledge will help. Well worth the purchase.
For context, I'm a casual football fan. The kind of person that will enjoy a good game, but doesn't really have a team. I understand the offside rule, but terms like nutmeg and feint mean nothing to me, or at least until I played this a bit. 11.1 hours was my first session... couldn't put it down! I played through my first season, playing the matches for myself, and must say, enjoyable gameplay, much deeper stategy than I've fully mastered yet, but I've grasped the basics well enough to win games regularly and develop my team a little. The in game tutorial is great, as it'll guide you as much as you need with additional tips if you're really stuggling and can't figure it out. Keep trying and you'll get there! Picked the base game up during a sale for a couple of £ and honestly it'd cost me more to get the local bus to town. Great value for money.
Llegue a tercera después de 41 horas, luego llegue a segunda y gane la copa después de 91 horas, Luego de 108 horas jugando el juego compre el dlc de Manager Journey y se me borro la partida 9/10
I really wanted to like this but I can't. The game is garbage. No balance. Comparing this to X-Com is the most ridiculous thing I've heard in my life.
