Football Mogul 15

Horrible, horrible, horrible game. Waste of my time. There is no way to actually cutsomize the league. I tried and failed. The scheduling went fine, but somehow NO PLAYOFF GAMES WERE PLAYED. How hard is it to just let the users customize things? I'm getting my money back.

Pretty nice what the developers came up with this one. I doubt this game was created for everyone to enjoy, so if you are a football fanatic, I would definitely suggest you try this game.

I like the game so far. I haven't played similar games until finding Football Mogul and Baseball Mogul but so far I find myself pleasantly surprised.

Really good game besides how fast the defensive players deteriorate. Drafted Ed Reed and within 5 years he was not playable. Offensive players can be 90+ until their 40s but defensive players can't play for more than 5 years. Only bad part of the game other than that have found it very enjoyable.

I'm sorry, I just didn't enjoy this game. I like management sims and things like that so I though I'd like that aspect, but I didn't. It was pretty much just running football plays and things like that (and there are many other games that do a better job at that). So there wasn't as much control or customizablility as I like. Maybe if you are REALLY into football you'd like the statistics and stuff like that but I just didn't. To be fair though, I'm not really a big fan of American Football anyway, I just thought I would like to try it at least.

I hadn't tried this series for awhile and decided to give it another go. I regret making that choice. They game honestly just feels like the results are literally randomized with no real logic to base it off of. This might not have felt so random if the play-by-play wasn't comprised of 15-odd phrases repeated over and over and over and over. On top of the poor "commentary" describing the on-field action, the game still looks like it belongs on a Windows 95 OS. Everything looks awful and frankly, there's only so much benefit you can give a small (one-man?) team. The gameplay itself doesn't feel very realistic either since the stats for each players don't really seem to mean much as a 91 OVR QB can go 12-45 against a 75 OVR who goes 28-36. This is only a one-game example, but the stats don't follow historically at all. Most user-players will either fall WAY below their average performance, or completely blow it out of the water (Hello Alex Smith who had a 45-7 TD:INT ratio). Sure, it FEELS like you're doing stuff since you're clicking the plays yourself sometimes, but since the descriptions are mostly the same aside from bootleg passes, it very quickly loses that feeling of you actually making a difference.

So far so good. I had a bit of time and wanted to check this game out. Looks pretty good so far. I hope it will get better and better as time goes by.
