Foolish Mortals

DNF. I really did not enjoy this game. After 10 minutes of straight unskippable cut-scenes, including a tediously long song, I finally gave up and quit. Too much narration, and a snarky, sarcastic narrator that's not so much funny, as just grating. He just has to make a snarky comment on EVERYTHING. Sometimes you can skip the dialogue, sometimes you can't, and you're never sure which. And like another user mentioned, your quests are all 'shopping lists.' Find these 7 items for this. Find these 5 items for that...it feels just like filler puzzles. You're not so much "solving" the mystery, as just collecting items to progress the plot artificially. It's not for me.

Foolish Mortals was such a delight. The puzzles were fun and clever. The story was intriguing and the twists and turns were great. Murphy has the same silly charm that Guybrush Threepwood had which made me feel a bit nostalgic for Monkey Island. This game, if it turns into a series could be an amazing callback to Monkey Island which makes me so excited to see what Inklingwood cooks up next!

This game is amazing. Great character design, fully voice acted, enjoyable story. The hint system is really well done. Well worth the money.

I just finished the game, it was really fun to play. Foolish Mortals is a good point&clic, with a great story, nice environments and interesting NPC. Bonus point, the objects can be used more than once ! I highly recommand it to the people who like that kind of games :)

Great game!

A wonderful little adventure. Really evoked the feeling of the old graphic adventures I played growing up. Fairly short, I completed it in about 10 or 11 hours playing at a leisurely pace, but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommend to fans of the genre.

Tolles Adventure, hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Eine prima Geschichte mit sehr schöner Grafik, die Rätsel sind nicht zu schwer und die Hinweise / Tips im Spiel sind gut gemacht und gaben mir einige Male den entscheidenden Hinweis. Nur für das Rätsel mit der Torte musste ich im Internet nachsehen. Das Ende ist sehr ergreifend und emotional.

Monkey Island s’inspirait de l’attraction Pirates des Caraïbes ; Foolish Mortals s’inspire du Manoir Hanté. Et c’est trop bien.

Overall, quite enjoyable. A few puzzles were absolute BS, most were dead obvious, and only a few felt well designed. Some corny humor, and some of the lore behind the supernatural game's story felt a little loose and unclear in a confusing way, but it's a heartfelt, well written story regardless, with memorable characters.

Aventura ao estilo de "Escape From Monkey Island" ou "Grimm Fandango", para quem gosta. Uma aventura bem criada, textos e falas bem enquadradas, ambiente que está no mesmo nivel dos jogos mencionados anteriormente. Os gráficos são os 2D mas vale a aventura, diálogos e puzzles para resolver. Vale apena jogar.
