Royal Legends: Raised in Exile Collector's Edition

I like this game because it has a match-3 alternative to hidden objects. I cannot recommend it because it has a game breaking bug. [spoiler]If you are in a zoomed in area with a cub and a large leaf, if you just take the leaf and back out - you can never get back in to take the cub. You cannot continue in the game without the cub. The map show no locations with available actions, help says nothing to do here in all available locations. The area where the cub was is no longer available to zoom into. Game over.[/spoiler]

I believe the developer never visits their games to read issues and/or comments in the Community Hub. Many of their games have a gamebreaking bug, so I've stopped buying their games. The Steam refund rules prevent us from getting our money back because it happens later in the game. To make matters worse, despite saying "Collector's Edition", you need the DLC to get the full content/features of their games. NEVER again, no matter how much their games might be discounted!

BUG: When you put the scarf on the window bars, it disappears. When you Put the piece of charcoal & notepad on the table, and it writes down the safe combination, it disappears. The hints say there is nothing to do and the map shows no active areas. I was not able to complete. the game.

Some of HOG are unnecessary complicated. Couple with moving sliders are especially annoying. Paint puzzle was dumb. Telescope puzzle in extra chapter was bugged and never gave item for completion. There is no guide. Also, most of time you only have 2-4 screens to move between, so when game gives you 6 screens to work with, they don't fit on the map.

This is a game that feels like it's been picked up off the cutting room floor. It has a disjointed story which does not make sense. Likewise the music, some really excellent, sometimes no music at all and a really irritating soundtrack with the door creaking, whispering and knocking sounds which I had to switch off. I recognised some of the artwork and stories from other games. There is no strategy guide and the collectable indicator doesn't always work. Also have no idea why the title page shows an octopus. Although the records says I played 8 hours, I got bored after 4 but forgot to turn it off.

Ich kann das Spiel in jedem Fall empfehlen. Es hat alles was man so braucht für ein Wimmelbildspiel. Teilweise sind die Hidden Objekt und auch die Rätsel ein harte Nuss un teilweise zuerst nicht zu verstehen was gefordert ist

The game is simple and have good graphics. But less plot and less characters in the game. Overall the story is 7/10 because the remaining 3 i want is that it should be more rich story.

Fun puzzles, more areas to explore at one time for clues and stuff.

Yesterday I was able to play the main chapter with no issues. Today I have tried x 2 to play the bonus chapter and ran into glitches. The first time I was able to get the butterfly net from the telescope area but was unable to complete the telescope puzzle. 2nd time I was thought if I used a hint to bypass the telescope puzzle I would be able to continue but when it closed I was unable to put the butterfly net together. It could be a good game if the glitches in the bonus section were fixed. I had posted about the bonus section being broken a year ago and it hasn't been fixed yet. Don't waste your money on this one.
