Super to just mess around with, slightly confusing editor initially but you get the hang of t, i still hate piston engines though...

Das Spiel hat großes Potenzial und erhält auch regelmäßig Updates. Aktuell fehlen mir aber noch einige Features. Zum Beispiel eine Unterstützung für Expressions oder Scripts. Was mir besonders gut gefällt, ist die Grafik. Sie ist simpel gehalten aber für einen Flugsimulator sehr hübsch. Mir gefällt auch sehr das Entwickeln von eigenen Motoren und allgemein wie die Kraft/Momentenverteilung von Antrieben umgesetzt ist. Das macht Flyout z. B. besser als Simple Planes 2. Wo Flyout auch glänzen kann, ist die Flugphysik. Es sind physikalische Effekte, wie Bodeneffekt oder vortex ring state bei Helikoptern umgesetzt. Hut ab! Was mir nicht so gut gefällt, was z. B. SP2 Besser macht, ist das entwickeln von eigenen Flugzeugen. Einerseits, dass keine richtigen Airfoils verwendet werden können, andererseits, dass das designen von Rümpfe recht anstrengend ist. Es fehlen vernünftige Tastenkürzel, wie bei einem CAD-Programm, die das Entwerfen vereinfachen würden. Dokumentationstechnisch oder Tutorialtechnisch gibt es auch leider nicht besonders viel momentan. Daran muss auch noch gearbeitet werden. Es ist ein offizielle Discord-Server vorhanden, bei dem man Flugzeuge downloaden, mit der Community chatten odereigene Flugzeuge/Mods hochladen kann. Wobei man bei Mods eher von Parts sprechen muss. Ich hoffe, dass das Spiel so großartig wird, wie SP2, aber dafür ist noch einiges notwendig und SP2 ist auch noch im Early Access. Aktuell ist das Spiel noch so unfertig, dass ich leider keinen Daumen nach oben geben kann...

Works really well. Great controls, works with HOTAS. But gawd I'm bad at making them.

Game is too empty other than the plane building part which is rather buggy and doesn't give you full customization

I wasn't sure until this last update, the game had previously lacked even a basic undo feature, and was suffering from bugs. However, this update has drastically imrpoved the qol of the game has basically brought out everything i wanted in such an airplane design game. I highly recommend it, although there's a steep learning curve it's worth it even to do casually.

very fun game, great for aircraft and/or engineering enthuists. love it! just beware, its quite hard to build well.
