Twist is interesting, but the game itself doesn’t have a lot to offer. In this game, the location with anomalies is very small because all you have is a little room and an elevator. Both have nothing of interest. The elevator includes a mirror, posters, and some writings on the walls, but the room is absolutely empty except for a few mannequins facing you. The goal of this anomaly-seeking game is to use the elevator to reach the 10th floor. If everything is alright, you allow the elevator to take you to the next identical floor. But if something is wrong, you have to press the emergency button. However, this game features a twist. Instead of seeking for anomalies in a room, odd events occur right inside the elevator as you move to the next floor. This also means that you can't waste time seeking for changes. When you hit the elevator button and the lights begin to flicker, you have a very short time to detect an anomaly. You must move quickly because if you do not click the button before the elevator opens the door, it will drop back to floor zero. This makes the game tricky because it’s very easy to miss a detail. Some anomalies are obvious, like a puddle of blood in the middle of an elevator or different lights, but some are very small. One of those are anomalies on your body, which are visible if you look yourself in the mirror. The number of anomalies is very low, so it’s possible to beat the game after a few runs. Unfortunately, there’s no satisfaction because all you get at the end is a single big word across the screen. The word doesn’t go away even if you press the elevator button and start another run. Also, the game doesn’t have any menu, so the only way to leave is to force quit with Alt-F4.
