Fledgling Manor

I enjoyed it, its fun and Eight is great, I adore them.

Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular,

really well-written and fun IF. def pick up if you enjoy World of Darkness, Vampire: The Masquerade, etc.

Fledgling Manor is a solid vampire visual novel. Get put on a reality tv show for vampires, smash the system of exploitation, and maybe romance a castmate along the way. [spoiler]As others note, most paths seem to more or less lead to similar happy endings[/spoiler], but that's OK. Most of the characters are loveable or sympathetic in some way. I like a bittersweet ending, but sometimes it's really nice to have a gripping story that's also uplifting, with a side bonus of exploring concepts of toxic and non-toxic masculinity. So if you love vampire stories and want to sink your teeth into one that won't disappoint, check this out.

A (semi) erotic vampire death game reality show visual novel???!!?!?!? If that sounds at all appealing, this is worth the purchase. I'd say you can get 6-10 hours outta this game depending on your reading speed (I finished in 8, achievement hunted for another hour, and left my computer on), but repeat playthroughs have a fair amount of alternate dialogue (your choices do matter!) and a skip feature, so they feel great. There are three romance routes with some alternate endings- and each are generally good but maybe a bit freaky. Generally, this game is on that freak ♥♥♥♥. There no explicit nudity, but the sexual experiences are described in a good amount of detail and some of the arts are salacious. The violence is also off mostly offscreen, but decently described. They are vampires that thrive in wielding power, violence, and bdsm or adjacent scenarios. TW or shopping list : Mind Break, Pet Play, Domination, Murder, Monster play, Blood play. There is also a religious recently turned vampire that is bullied a bit, so if you're sensitive to that, watch out there. My only wish would be for there to have been a few more routes (I think that there's a world where you could help almost any character get into the final 2 with you, and some would have been very interesting [spoiler] an incredibly messy complicated will they/wont they with Jason, an exploration of religion/repressed sexuality in vamp society with Tay, a plot to wipe out the vamp masters with Lilia [/spoiler] but I'm still *very* happy with what is there for the price! If you want some dark romance (and one more grounded romance) deeply recommend.

I had sat on this one for a while after buying it because I don't like reality shows and am not really into vampires much either, but it was really satisfying! I got what felt like the 'real' ending but I'll probably go back ad try at least one more route because I'm curious how else it could go.
