About
Sent to investigate an abandoned apartment, you are tasked with documenting strange occurrences using the A.D.D. (Anomaly Detection Device)—a specialized tool capable of detecting and repairing irregularities.
At first, the apartment seems perfectly normal, but as you explore, reality starts to shift. Objects move on their own, shadows flicker unpredictably, and unnatural occurrences manifest around you.
You are trapped in a loop in which you must identify all anomalies in the apartment to progress to the next one. Missing even a single anomaly will send you back to the previous floor.
Your mission is to address every anomaly you encounter and find a way out of Flat 9.
This is a psychological horror game that may contain jump scares and intense moments. Player discretion is advised.

Flat 9 is a fun little anomaly hunt game. A more juvenile take on the genre that doesn't have any bloodshed or gore and only one "dangerous" anomaly and the jumpscares are a bit silly and childish. Some of the anomalies are extremely subtle and very clever. If you have younger family members interested in horror or anomaly hunt horror, I would recommend this one. It's also far more forgiving than other anomaly hunts. Instead of being booted all the way to start, you just start from the last level. You also get 3 chances per level to mess up. Overall, a tidy and neat little game if you like this specific genre.
I just finished Flat 9 and it genuinely stands out thanks to a few really smart gameplay mechanics. The biggest one — and my favorite — is how mistakes are handled. If you fail to find all the anomalies on a floor, you don’t get instantly reset back to Floor 1. Instead, you’re pushed back one floor at a time. In theory, if you keep missing things, you can end up back at the beginning — and I actually did. At one point I dropped from Floor 8 all the way back to Floor 4 just from accumulated mistakes. It adds real tension without feeling punishing. That said, if you die, it does reset you back to Floor 1. When you reach Floor 9, the game switches things up again. You’re placed back in the room for a 110-second timed event, where anomalies begin appearing over time. You need to survive the full duration while identifying them as they show up. If you fail, the room resets and you try again until you make it through the entire countdown. It’s a great final test that feels earned rather than gimmicky. After completing the game, there’s also a Collector Mode, which I really appreciated. There’s a set number of anomalies to find, and if you’ve missed any, the door tells you how many remain. In this mode, there’s exactly one anomaly per floor, and you progress until you’ve collected them all. For completionists, this is a fantastic feature — no need to replay the entire game blindly just to clean up missed content. Overall, I had a great time with this one. The anomalies range from very obvious to the kind that make you stop and second-guess yourself. It’s not the hardest anomaly-finder out there, but it’s far from simplistic, and its mechanics help it stand apart from similar games. I’d definitely recommend it.
Definitely a thumbs up! This game is a great game to stream. It is challenging, but not overly difficult. Not too long but not too short. There is a great additional mode that allows you to find anomalies that you have missed during your first playthrough. And best of all, this game is CREEPY! I had goosebumps the whole time. If you can get it on sale, this game is a hidden gem. Rating: 8.5/10
The classic "What is wrong here" Anomaly game that just hits all the right spots, enjoy going up with only a soft punishment of Failure equals go down one floor, it is a short adventure to enjoy and have a laugh when one of the creatures is just the Balatro clown. Its not a hard game, and the surprise twist at the end, give me hops this developer could do another pleasant to play game as this one.
I love it <3
I like this one. There are some anomalies that kill you, which is always lame. It's mostly horror themed. You have to point out the anomalies, so there's no luck involved. Game takes about 40 minutes to fully complete.
Very fun anomaly game, definitely spooked me a few times! https://youtu.be/o0XkDUddwss?si=eqsSi5WFcr72LW7M
