Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I went into Secret of the Mimic with high expectations, Steel Wool are now an established studio with a string of games made with this IP. You'd hope, after the critical panning of Security Breach and the 2 games they made between these releases, that they would have learned ANYTHING about optimizing a game. The loading sequences were obnoxious, the entity loading took far too long and multiple doors didn't load until I walked INTO them, along with this every major sequence had at least 1 obvious bug which took me out of the game; on top of this glitchy mess, the main draw of the game to me (the looming threat of the mimic being in any suit) was capitalized on ONCE throughout the whole game. There are great concepts that fall flat in execution every time scattered along the floor of this cluster-♥♥♥♥, and I really wish any other studio made this game, cause it could've been an enjoyable experience, but as is, this game is BAD.

vr port is buggy, the game itself isnt even scary its just frustrating, i really dont like where fnaf games are going with SOTM and SB
I Had To Consult A Video Three Seperate Times Just To Progress In The Game. I'm Fine With It Because I Just Like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Around In Games And/Or Speedrunning Them. But If You Don't, DO NOT GET THIS GAME. It's Not Worth Fifty Dollars.
