Firewatch is a single-player first-person mystery set in the Wyoming wilderness, where your only emotional lifeline is the person on the other end of a handheld radio.

Spoilers This is a interesting game that could have had more done to it especially in the ending regard like how you could be like Ned how you both lost loved ones and live in the woods like him and leave society instead of getting in the helicopter but there's only 2 choices get in helicopter or wait and don't but there no extra dialog between characters just the credits And there is a big time skip between days, you only play like 10 days at most and some days are only a couple of lines And I know this was made in 2016 by like 13 people but how hard could it be to add like 3 lines or 3 seconds of being left behind 6.5/10

War gut. Man muss bisschen viel gehen.

this game was an absolute cinema. If youre concidering to buy this game get prepared for a lot of walking. The story is really good and a bit sad. 100% would recomend for people who like quik but fun story games.
I almost never write Steam reviews. In fact, this is my first one. But if you're even thinking about buying this game, just do it. Sale or no sale. If you're looking for a great single-player experience, spend your money on this before you spend it on anything else. The best way I can describe Firewatch is: it's like a thriller movie... except you're the one living through it. If you're going into this expecting something like 911 Operator or a fire lookout simulator where you just answer radios all day, you're in the wrong place. And if you're looking for a horror game, this isn't that either. What this game is, is a surprisingly simple single-player adventure with a story that completely pulls you in if you let it. You never really know what's coming next. At first, you're trying to understand your character's thoughts and make the choices you think he would make. Then you find yourself wondering if he should leave his old life behind and move on. Five minutes later, none of that even matters anymore. One moment it's funny. The next it's heartbreaking. Then suddenly it's incredibly tense. Halfway through, you're no longer sure what's actually happening... or even what kind of game you're playing anymore. I don't want to spoil anything, because discovering it for yourself is exactly what makes this game special. I'd play it again in a heartbeat. Amazing story. Beautiful art style. Fantastic atmosphere. Just... play it.
