👍 Recommended? Without hesitation. Firewatch is one of those rare games that proves explosions don't make a story memorable. It's just you. A radio. Miles of beautiful Wyoming wilderness. And conversations that somehow feel more real than characters in games ten times its size. The soundtrack quietly sneaks into your brain. The atmosphere is unmatched. Every trail somehow makes you want to keep walking just to see what's over the next hill. It isn't trying to be the biggest game. It's trying to tell a story. And it absolutely succeeds. By the credits, I just sat there. No menu. No phone. Just... thinking. Games don't do that very often.
best game ever

This story is going to stay with me for a long time. The visuals, the constant feeling of being watched, the dialogue everything works really well. That said, the navigation can be a bit vague, and it's easy to get lost even when using the map. Then again, you could also see that as a positive, since in real life you don't always have a clear sense of direction.
