Operate faithfully reproduced Rosenbauer America fire trucks, extinguish fires, and rescue civilians in need – together with up to three friends in the co-op multiplayer or with the help of AI team members in the single player mode.
Also at your disposal is authentic firefighting gear such as helmets, firefighter boots, and a breathing apparatus model by well-known North American firefighting equipment manufacturers.

The multiplayer co-op mode allows you to play in a team with up to three friends to save lives and, of course, fight fires. Within the team you are free to assume whichever role that suits you most.
In single player mode, you will experience up close what it means to fight fires in a major US city as the leader of an experienced firefighting team. Thanks to the intuitive command UI, you take control of assigning tasks to your AI colleagues and jump right into the thick of the action yourself.

Wer auf der Suche nach einer packenden Feuerwehr-Simulation ist, macht mit Firefighter: The Squad definitiv nicht viel falsch. Das Spiel bietet ein rundum gelungenes Fundament, auch wenn es hier und da noch ein paar Ecken und Kanten hat. Das Positive: Grafik & Atmosphäre: Das Spiel sieht wirklich klasse aus! Die Lichteffekte beim Feuer, der Rauch und die Details der Fahrzeuge sorgen für eine richtig gute, dichte Atmosphäre während der Einsätze. Das Gameplay: Die Kernmechaniken – also das Löschen, Retten und die Koordination – machen extrem viel Spaß und fühlen sich verdammt gut an. Als "solides Spiel" betitelt, trifft es den Nagel auf den Kopf. Das Negative (Wo noch nachgebessert werden muss): Die KI-Kollegen: Die künstliche Intelligenz ist leider nicht immer die hellste. Manchmal stehen die Kollegen etwas planlos in der Gegend rum oder reagieren nicht so, wie man es in einer brenzligen Situation erwarten würde. Hier ist definitiv noch Luft nach oben! Die Anfahrtswege: Die Fahrten zu den eigentlichen Einsätzen können sich manchmal ziemlich in die Länge ziehen. Auf Dauer sind diese langen Fahrphasen leider wenig begeisternd und nehmen etwas das Tempo aus dem Spiel.
