About
Fire Lookout: Abandoned Post is a first-person narrative-driven mystery game.
As a newly hired fire lookout stationed deep in Summit Ridge National Park, you spend your days exploring the atmospheric landscape and connecting with colleagues. As you settle in, you can't shake the feeling that something is off.
As you begin to act on that feeling, you start to uncover the truth, but at what cost?
This game is primarily a first-person, slow-burning narrative experience with orientation-based exploration through a semi-open world map, and conversation-based progression through alternative decisions. Throughout the story you will be given clues as to what happened. Players are encouraged to explore, pay attention to details, and try to solve the mystery of what really happened in Summit Ridge National Park.
Atmospheric environment with a large, interactable world
Decision-based progression through radio conversations
Open-world exploration and orientation
Character voice acting
Fire Lookout: Abandoned Post is all about telling an immersive and interesting story. Mystery solving, the answer will not always be handed to you, it is up to the player to solve the mystery. If your style of games includes lore-rich, deep narrative experiences with simple mechanical additions, we believe this is the game for you.

Reviews
Its OK I guess, should be a free game not paid tho......more like an indie fun project vs a game you'd actually pay money for.
GOATED soundtrack
I think the game is pretty good. Ever since the patches to travel speed the game is alot more enjoyable. The music and ending are the best parts. The niche is similar to Firewatch but I find the story to be different. All around solid game.

не плохо но гг тупой пойти в ночь на вышку это надо же смелым
Amazing atmosphere and impressively well voice acted for an indie game. The jumpscares were decent, some better than others, but overall I think the game was a great experience. I really enjoyed the story and would recommend it.
Honestly a great idea, personally i love fire lookout games and i love playing them, games like firewatch and fears to fathom really blew me away. For this game, i dont have a lot to say but it didnt live up to my expectations, there isnt much to it except the main story, and that would be okay if the map wasnt huge, hiking takes long and i feel like we could do so much more than hold W and Shift. As for the main story its really nice written except i dont like the ending, kinda leaves a hole where we didnt find anything, and everything we done through the game feels like it has been for nothing. Graphics are good i put everything on low, got good fps, i only suggest adding FOV slider because we didnt need binoculars to see the other tower cause the FOV was like 5. This game isnt worth 10 bucks i would place it 2-3 $ maybe not over that. You pay a lot of money for a game that leaves u questioning. Overall has such a huge potential, story was nice, voice acting on the dot, graphics incredible, just needs a lot of stuff fixed. I do not reccomend buying it because its too expensive for what u get.
I liked the game, but can understand, that one who isn't familiar with nature can struggle.
