Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For a Final Fantasy game, this game is short and sweet compared to other Final Fantasy games.
One of the most influential games of all time. While 40 years old, it still feels engaging enough to enjoy and play through. It's short and doesn't over stay its welcome. I'd recommend this to anyone who cares deeply about the culture and history of games. 7/10..

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

IV (II for SNES), VI (III for SNES), and 7 are the games from this series that I've played the most. This game is a classic and this pixel remaster version is very good
Muito bom, vale a pena! Dublagem em PT-BR ficou boa e muitos recursos de QOL ajudam na gameplay.
So I recently got back into playing MTG, and I bought a cloud limit deck, but I've never played any Final Fantasy game, so I thought I might as well start at the very beginning, here I am, with FF1 and so far it's been pretty good, I'm about half way through the game. I've completed half the achievements and I bought the 5 games as they are all part of a bundle and reduced for the summer! bring on the FF series!
10/10
Really enjoyed this revisit down memory lane. I was skeptical of the SNES-style graphics but they grew on me, and the minor changes to story/ dialouge were in good taste. SO glad I tried it because the mechanics are much improved over the NES edition. No more wasting time with "ineffective" attacks aimed at dead enemies and several other improvements that made playing it a joy compared to the original. Any "Grinding" necessary was minimal--I completed the game in 19 hours, and probably only 3-5 of those hours were aimed purely at increasing my EXP levels. I got further in the first two hours of playing the game than I got in months back in the 90's! My favorite thing is the orchestral treatments of the original NES themes. Well done! If you were a fan of the original, I definitely recommend checking it out!
