About
A plethora of powerful swordplay techniques and Eikonic abilities lie within Clive's remit—and it is up to you to decide which ones you wish to learn or upgrade. If you're having trouble choosing, upgrades can be unlocked automatically.
Story-focused mode is recommended for those players who are less comfortable with action games and wish to focus more on the game's story elements. In this mode, Clive will automatically evade some attacks, and epic Eikonic combos can be triggered with simple button presses. Action-focused mode, where Clive's every action is controlled by the player, is available for those who are confident in their skill—or want to test it.
- FINAL FANTASY XVI Base Game

A great game with a poorly optimised port that crashes constantly regardless of hardware.
First of all the game itself is great! (When it runs*). The story is good, the combat delivers and the visuals and soundtrack are cool. If only the option for hard mode wasn't locked behind NG+. *BUT I can't readily recommend this PC port as it has certain issues you may encounter. For myself, the game either freezes or crashes to desktop after an amount of play time, usually after a few hours (likely a memory leak) or sometimes seconds after launch. Messing with the settings if needed can offset this temporarily but that isn't a good long term solution. Unfortunately the latest patch was apparently October 2024 which is unacceptable since that's not long after its PC release. Maybe Square-Enix could throw a little extra time and resources at this game so more people can actually enjoy it.
I would recommend this game because of the story, the action, the adventure and the use of Summons being called Eikons.
Painfully mediocre. Stupid story, bland characters, meaningless quests. The combat system is fine i guess, but the encounters are just terrible. The music is great though and the game has a few impressive vistas, set pieces and boss battles, but damn, this was rough to get through.
Has a really good story so far. Characters to love. Fun combat. Highly recommend.
Really enjoying the story and the gameplay.
Been playing FF since day 1. OG gamer from the 80's. I appreciate having to break crystals instead of saving them from destruction. Nice little twist for me. Game is good and straightforward controls make learning easy.
通关了,后期剧情看的人犯困,屎一般的优化,又臭又长的召唤兽战,灰不溜秋的垃圾环境,敌人颜色不明显加上队友那乱七八糟的特效,太烂了
